Nor ours. The house just across from us has a gardener every Friday, even in winter. He loves the big powerful hedge cutters, strimmers etc. 9.00 off he goes, well, he did until I had a very angry rant at him and the poor lady who lives there....now he doesn't start up his annoyance until 10.00.

The idea is to leave it on so the bottle and cap remain together, recycling companies bemoaned getting bottles back but not the caps. I'm guessing they get recycled (steralized, refilled and resealed) so I kinda get why...

Recycling reduces harm to the environment and a big thank you. Lots of disgruntled folk throw things away without a care in the world and remain unaware that waste eventually finds its way to the coast and into the oceans.

I'm not a fan but probably best prime minister since Major ... Sunak a poor mans Starmer. Truss? ..Well Truss might have been interesting as she was prepared to think outside the box but went too early to tell one way or another. Johnson was a complete clown with complete disdain for the British public. Cameron was arrogant. Blair a wannabe tory and Brown incredibly bland, basically a bookkeeper. I'm not tory or Labour but I liked Major as a steady hand after the nasty money grabbing corrupt Thatcher. Callaghan, Wilson and Heath were all solid politicians

That's my life time summed up. Lifetime Liberal voter might go Green next time, they've had a good year.

I agree about the ban on veggie burgers, sausages etc. I can't understand why people who don't want to eat meat want their plants to look like meat.
