So frustrating to see how our manager can take us out of the Championship as winners and then have to step up to a level that is beyond his tactical capability. THere is no thread created about the Forest game probably as everyone on the forum is either angry, annoyed or just hiding in a cupboard to ease the pain. I really can not get my head round on why we are so crap. The games we played against Brighton and Forest have to set some sort of record for worst performances. The subs made during the game are another baffling situation, while one of best playmakers (Tanaka) is on the bench. Bijol was bought for his ability to be a threat in the air, well I am still waiting to see this. What a shambles and DF takes part of the blame of course. He has put himself in this position by not adapting to our strenghts and now he faces being dismissed. The list of availbale managers doesn't really set the world on fire for me, it would have to be a poach from another club with big money and the promise of the comfortable chair at board meetings. Either way DF is hanging by a thread imo. Not a great situation but this is Leeds United we have to whats best for the club one manager that is available is Xavi, Now this would be some appointment.

It’s not much better driving home in daylight either.

We must remember we have spent huge sums since relegation last time out in getting promoted. Sunderland, albeit 24 points lower had a shoestring budget in comparison allowing them to spend big last summer.

As the speculation begins to ramp up around a change in Manager, I wonder what Marcelo Bielsa could do with THIS squad in the Premier League??? I would argue that this squad has more raw talent.

NOTE: This is just wishful speculation. An exercise to induce happy thoughts. Not a serious proposition. 8-)

Missing out on a bounce back was a big failure... Though we have made more than we've spent while in the championship I think

The point per game that Farke advocates seems like an Albatross round his neck.Other birds are available. So he’s probably content.

Unfortunately we all knew what farke record is in the prem it js absolutely crap allbeit given a rough hand by Norwich, his downfall was not getting promoted in the 1st season having to spend money on the 2nd season to get promoted then knock onto the 3rd yr.
I think it is time to go and the earlier the better so the new manager can see what he has got b4 transfer window opens, and try to get players back off loan,I honestly think Joffy and Largi would have an input with this team .

Ridiculous that he went public with that.

Tell people what you expect and that's what they'll give you. How can he go into the locker room and look his players in the eye now that he's told everyone he's expecting them to meet such a low threshold of performance? We need to aim higher than that. More importantly, he has to show his players he's confident they can perform to a higher level.

The players have to believe they can navigate this next month and get a few points. How can they possibly believe that their own manager has confidence they can do so now that he's said that?

Farke has a relationship with his team and they will be wise enough to evaluate what he says during his media duties accurately.

They will also have set goals for the season at a team meeting.

Its just as easy to argue that them having realistic goals will not put undue or unreasonable demands on the squad.

When things are going well the manager comes out and says things that the fans think is good and they believe what he says, cos we are winning and what he says must be true.
When things are going badly and the manager says things he is totally wrong and needs to catch himself on........GO FIGURE :duno:

Perhaps we’re waiting for Silva to become free to hire him. Top manager, he is.

Might not be long... Fulham apparently weighing up their options.
