Agree regarding the subs, plus we need to rotate a couple of players over the Christmas period.

After watching the replay, I think Bijol was expecting Perri to gather the ball, he certainly told him so afterwards.

P: Lots of positives. A brave selection from Farke and excellent performance. Even the negative of having the penalty not given for the foul on Aaronsen didn't become a factor and also not getting the one at the end turned into a positive. Ludicrous decision from Pawson (ref who had the benefit of video replays) to not give the first half penalty.

N: Only one is not getting the clean sheet. Would have been perfect without that with DCL continuing his good run and Ampadu scoring.

Positive - dominant performance and lethal with set pieces ( though palaces defending was shocking). Cracking atmosphere throughout the game reminiscent of last year and frankly never thought I'd feel anything similar this year.

Negative - we deserved a clean sheet but thankfully it didn't matter.

Positive ; totally dominated a top PL team, and we looked like we could score from nearly every set piece, with Ampadu's throws now a lethal weapon.

+ aside the obvious a 6 point gap + GD to the relegation zone is fantastic at this stage. I’d fully expect West Ham to throw the cheque book at the January transfer window though.

That was the pleasing thing - we scored 4 but could have had more so it wasn't any sort of smash and grab. Fully deserved and was really good to see us attacking in the second half rather than simply sitting back and trying to do breaks.

I thought Tanaka & Piroe struggled somewhat, Jay, only to be expected I suppose.

Not knocking Farke whatsoever, but I was surprised he subbed both our warhorses Ampadu & Aaronson, whom put in a hell of a shift all over the park.
