Here's my prediction as a Toon fan for Wednesday
Gonna be really tight. As I said in previous post I fancy we can beat anyone at our gaff. Not to deviate therefore, I'm going with a Toon win 2-1. Your form has been very good and my prediction for your final league position is 11th. After you play us, good luck people.

Should be a good game, We will have a few key players back to give you a good game and maybe steal a point ..... Only negative we look a bit tired lately....Spotty wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 5:04 pm Gonna be really tight. As I said in previous post I fancy we can beat anyone at our gaff. To come away with anything from Newcastle is as tall an order as there is in the PL so I'm a bit worried about the outcome but hoping for a good game and a good performance whatever the result.

with the current weather will the match be on
Leeds need to bring in a midfielder who can score goals and a decent number 9 in Jan 2027.

Might even see some Toon fans wearing t-shirts if it gets a bit too chilly.
We still owe you for that jammy 2-1 win you got up there in Keegan's infamous season. I was the sole fan in the Jackie Milburn stand not celebrating Lukic's howler.

Alright lads, been a while.
I'd echo what Spotty said. We're getting key players back to fitness and we're looking more cohesive up front. I think what will help us against you is the same that helped us against Crystal Palace; our fitness vs their tiredness.
Plus of course the home crowd impact.
Just a re-post of the pub advice I've given earlier for any souls foolish enough to brave heading up midweek, to stand in the stratosphere.

Newcastle has about 100 pubs within a mile of the ground. None of them are 'away' pubs, and the overwhelming majority will make you welcome as long as you're not causing bother.
Any that are driving up and back on the day; park at the Metrocentre and get the train across. Free, safe, CCTV-ed parking. Plus there's the usual food options in the shopping centre itself for travel snacks on the way back.
Around St James' you've got Shearers which is part of the stadium itself. Big, loud, always busy so if you go I'd recommend getting a couple of rounds at a time, rather than queueing twice. Stack is a boxpark but you might struggle to get inside if you're wearing colours. Not because of any fear of bother, but it's used a lot for social media stuff and they prefer a sea of black and white.
The Strawberry, the home pub, good atmosphere, good beer, you'll have your ears bent about Longstaff and all that, but this will be heaving on matchday.
Rosies was a staple, had a bit of a makeover now but it's still decent.
Tilleys is a bit further from the stadium but great range of beers and good atmosphere.
Forth Hotel and Town Wall are both favourites, the latter is a bit bigger though.
Loads of food and bar recommendations if you're staying over, but that'll do for now I reckon.
