Thanks, I may see some of the game on my phone, whilst on the coach.

Re: Derby County pre match chat
That might be more down to players being jaded and fatigued due to the fixture congestion - not helped by bringing Rodon back too early.
The issue on our left is more of a deep seated long term problem. We had that issue in our last two seasons in the PL, despite having different wingers, fullbacks and midfielders on that left side...

Possibly, Rodon had already been subbed prior to the winning goal.CHAPELALLMAN wrote: ↑Sat Jan 10, 2026 5:24 pm That might be more down to players being jaded and fatigued due to the fixture congestion - not helped by bringing Rodon back too early.

Hopefully, the left side of our defensive set-up will be addressed in the next two transfer windows, January or the summer.

Well... Only 31% of forumites agree with that, with 33% saying you are wrong.
36% are undecided at this point and have as yet expressed an opinion.
So in until there is conclusive evidence Herr Farke will have to pick the team himself.

Is it possible i have deleted someones post
I was replying to a post concerning United being beaten by Sutton, also regarding my Brother and I travelling from Leeds to Torquay and getting thrashed 4-0 Cup Tie.
600 mile round trip and approx 12 hours just to get get there.
First time the West Country had seen John Charles

Gudmundsson tried but Nmecha just stood there, had he jumped sideways he probably blocks it.

As the league is are proirity this is a potential upset with a probable second string side being put out to protect key players for the Fulham match. Hopefully Gnonto will be fit to play a full 90 minutes and I would expect Piroe to be up front. Tricky game against John Eustace who is a good manager and will be up for this one especially at home. Derby to scrape a narrow win 1-0

If we try to compete at both the FA Cup and the league we will end up getting screwed. The league has to be No1 priority. For the fans amonst us who thrive on nostalgia would a run in the FA cup be an ideal season ?
Do we want that at a cost of getting relagated ?

We have 3 very winnable games before the 4th round, so , by then we could be 15 points above relegation place.
Lets just make sure we win today and take it from there.
Would be great getting to Wembley AND.stay up.

Jeez! Where can I get a pint of what you're having?
Personally, I don't much care about the result today as long as we give a good showing. I am hoping that Joel Piroe gets an outing and he has a damn fine one. He deserves a chance to show that he is still here.

TBF, that looks a bit of a mess
Bornauw RB, Harrison LB, Amps/Bijol CB's
Gruev, Tanaka centre mid Gnonto, Okafor on the wing
Nmecha and Piroe up front

Very interesting team.
Looks like Ampedu and Harrison in a back four.

Looks like a bit of a dog’s breakfast. Probably be brilliant.

Re: Derby County v Leeds United Match Thread
Why does it say 3pm? It's midday (that's 7am in Canada)? I'm already up waiting for this. Should be an easy win even with a rotated team...

Looks a bit kamikaze to me. Only 2 recognised defenders (plus ampadu). Certainly not a line up to park the bus
