I'm not upset whatsoever, as you say it's all about different opinions.Overman wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2026 2:08 pm You constucted this poll (correct me if I'm wrong) so essentially, your collating people's opinions. I was only making a similar comparison to last season.

Fair play Leon. I'll be honest, with Leeds over the decades, I've grown accustomed to dissappointment. I guess from a cognitive aspect this is fearing the worst, and hope for the best! Of course, I want us to stay up by all means, and to see Spurs relegated.
I will be eating more humble pie for sure.

Several of us could be eating humble pie one way or another!Overman wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2026 2:30 pm Fair play Leon. If we are relegated, we'll have to accept the consequences as we have done many times in the past.
Worse things happen at sea, as they saying goes, we only have to look at the ongoing world crisis upon us.

I voted Spurs to be relegated, we are still above them, so it is in our hands, but I am worried about where our next win is coming from.

I've gone Spurs, but could have quite easily have picked Leeds. Overman has said it all pretty well about running out of steam. There's echoes of two seasons ago where we ran out of steam near the end and ended up in the playoffs instead of auto-promotion.

There's too much money in football. Top tier 1960s, 1970s and probably 1980s footballers had to find another career after their playing careers ended.1964white wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2026 10:34 am I did say football, not Leeds United.
Cheating b*st*rds are spoilng football, timewasting, stoppages & other issues means the ball is only in play for about 50% to 60% of a game.
VAR & refereeing in general.
Offside rule is unclear
Does anyone know what is a penalty with a handball offence anymore.
Rugby tackles at set-pieces are acceptable & are not deemed as fouls.
Summer/January window restricting smaller clubs from competing with the established PL teams is a joke.
Too much greed in the game, where football is geared up for the top six clubs.
Far too many knobheads from top to bottom in the game nowadays.

I went with spurs based on current form, a new manager who seems to be taking them backwards, and I think it would be good for football if a so called big club went down (just as Leicester winning the premier league was positive).
However it could be any of the 4 with plenty of twists and turns to come. As so often on here, some take the last round of fixtures and treat them as representative of how the rest of the season will go. A little bit of perspective is required and going over the top when we win and slitting the wrists when we lose doesn't advance the argument either way.
We are Leeds and never make things easy for ourselves and some of us have probably been kidding ourselves that it would be different this season . Hopefully Tuesdays horror show was an aberration but trying to predict what might happen over the next 9 is probably a mugs game.

Forest for me , I think Spurs will just scrape home , they’re no relying on other results though which always seem to go against you when you are down in the depths

It is amazing how a couple of losses flips things around. This is why we and the other teams around us are in the mix - consistency.
All the teams around us face the similar problems. I have no idea who will go down, I believe we have enough to stay up as the team are full of fight.

Impossible to predict anything with so many crucial matches left for all the teams fighting to stay in the PL. The good news is it's one from four and many at the start of the season were saying finding it difficult to predict who we might finish above other then Burnley.
Conclusion all to play for but voted Forest just out of hope really.
That game against Spurs away is now starting to look huge.

Apart from the Sunderland game we haven't looked like a relegation team since late November.

Which makes some peoples virtual breakdown over the Sunderland game baffling.
We put out the same side against Man C and should have lead in that game.
What happened to the players v Sunderland ? Like a different team.
Not all about Farke.

There’s a big contrast between the teams we were playing though, the set up vs Man City was entirely justifiable. The same set up against a weakened Sunderland was not.

The Spurs fans and West Ham fans will quickly turn on their team if they have a bad performance.
But I will go for Spurs...their fans were leaving at half time!
The Championship will have a shiny new stadium next season. With lots of vacant seats to select from.

Sunderland killing the game & the referee hindered us to a certain degree.
The ball was only in play for 58 of the 99 minutes played, with the longest period of play lasting two minutes without the game being stopped by fouls, time-wasting & other unnecessary interuptions.

It’s Leon, Barlow and Cussie’s fault along with the other 30 odd thousand
When things don’t go smoothly or it’s a frustrating game, the ER atmosphere gets to the players and they get nervous, which they did.
It wasn’t helped by Sunderland’s tactics either.

DF is a major issue. He will not replace players who have a bad game, he always says players are NOT tried when clearly they are, he rarely changes things during a match until the 75 mins +
Leeds need a great summer 2026 with outgoings and incoming players

It's the missed opportunity and weird departure from the style that has got the best out of the squad that bugs me.
He played the same team as vs Man City, the same defensive lineup of now tired players.
Why not change it up? Playing the current Champions and an injury ravaged promoted side isn't the same challenge so why not be braver?
He didn't react again till we were behind, he made a big deal of the shots we had, we had 70% of those once we were losing and Sunderland had sat back.
It was imo just a mass of missed opportunities and lack of proactive management that bugged me.
