Based on the season averages on Leon's thread they wouldn't have started more on merit.
I am realistic that I manage a team in the relegation zone so I would be disrespectful to criticise them. It's fine margins. There is no reason to be over confident. I concentrate on what I can influence.
Relegation picture
I expect each and every team to fight until the end and stay in this league. It is one of those seasons where you need to get more points. I don't expect 38 pts will be enough. We need six to eight points. We have eight opportunities to win them.
Squad mood
Yes, from the first day we were confident. Many brilliant performances. Everyone is aware of the animal the PL is. We can take confidence from the last games, but there is still work to do. I am sure we will prove we can stay in this league. We are on a good path but nothing in achieved yet.
Fully fit squad
Okafor is back in team training since the beginning of the week. Everyone is available.
Left-back options without Gudmundsson
I think JJ is excellent there. We don't have too many natural replacements in this option but I trust my squad.
Nmecha
We didn't allow Palace any chances and we had the better chances. We were able to compete. it wasn't a fluid game of football and we had to change at HT due to having one player less.
Lukas is in a good shape and trains well. Always delivers in cups. Always an option to start with him.
Stach call-up for Germany
It's well deserved. He plays in the best league in the world. He has played and adapted. Normally players need time but not Anton. He was oustanding and fully deserves his call up.
he wins balls, always puts a shift in against the ball and wins many duels. When you play so consistently in the best league in the world, you deserve it. Hopefully he can grab this chance.
Brentford
You have to give compliments to Brentford, how they coped with Thomas Frank leaving in the summer. They are fighting for Europe, so we are aware we play a side who could achieve this.
We drew last time. We won many stats and should have perhaps won the game. We are capable to find answers and solutions to the questions they will ask. It is an opportunity for us.
Scoring goals again
We work hard in this topic. I am happy with this training week. We had two goals ruled out in games. Normally vs Palace we should have been ahead. We have players who can convert chances into the net and use our situations from our set-pieces.
Each and every game is different. Brentford are well organised behind the ball and are creative. They have pace in the offence but also a striker is good in holding the ball. Our behaviour in possession is crucial.
Rodon's crossing
We had as joke that Rodon is the best crosser in the team. If we play him in hyrbid role. He's on a good path to improve. I don't expect him to be like David Beckham.
Playing Nmecha and DCL together
Always important to consider the game. Another reason is that they have similar attributes.
In our set up you have to defend very often very wide. We have to defend in a 3-5-2, which is natural for them two. But if we defend 4-5-1 it is more difficult.
Sometimes you have a death to die. We are a side to run a lot. This is not the natural for the striker. There are several reasons.

Mick Jones, my all time hero. I do believe one of our members has an elbow named after him.
Well deserved, a club legend for sure. We need to honour all of these gents while we still can. We have been absolutely blessed in terms of iconic players throughout our history. Will always wish I could've seen the sides of that era in action!

Why is Mick Jones the first? Do we know? I'm assuming this is a brand new thing so first ever former player is just the initial benificiary of the award? How often will we give out the award, can it be postumous?
... Not being picky or devisive by why not Eddie? Apart from Norman, now sadly passed, Eddie is the one true Leeds legend in terms of playing and assoccation with the club well past his playing career
