Sadly, most fans had left when he came round the pitch at the end. Those of us left, again, gave him a good round of applause.
The South-Stand had emptied by the time our players had reached the Kop.

A lovely gesture from Archie remembering his roots & applauding our fans who adore him.

Earning huge praise from all over the place for his performance vs Atletico Madrid last night.

Spurs fans, English media, Spanish media, even his opponents with Madrid regular Marcos Llorente taking the time to shake his hand as he walked off the pitch.

Feels like a coming of age performance for Archie.

Sad we only got him for 1 season and never in his best role.

Played midfield last night and was immense it seems.

If Spurs drop and we dont, do we bid to get him back 'home'?

I think that ship has sailed Malcy. I watched him vs Athletic, he must have impressed bigger teams than us. The lad thrives in European football from what I’ve seen of him this season.

He’s heading to the top, the very top, that lad.

He ain’t coming back, no chance.

Shame, I feel there are no "heroes" at the club at the moment. No one I'd put a name on a shirt if I were so inclined. Gnonto maybe but he's gone soon...

We’ve some decent enough players, Ampadu, Rodon but you’re correct we’ve nothing like Archie to watch.

Harry Gray perhaps, but even he’s elsewhere.

Amps is a solid DMF. And I love our starting CB pair but CB is not really a hero position.. we lack flair and excitement these days

There is, really like Cherki of City for example, plus various others, but I find some of it is stifled by safety first football.

Lucky for us as it plays to our strengths of defensive hard work ...

A man can dream cant he :roflmao:
Yes I realize its a slim to none chance. But wouldnt it be amazing.

I have to believe there's a soft spot in the lad's heart for Leeds United.
