Personally I think it’s testimony to his ability thus far, a lot of lesser clubs like up and coming managers that can deal with and bring kids through the ranks because it’s all they can afford, as you say, hope it works out, we’ve had a few coaches leave over the years for this same reason and wanting to test themselves.

Corberan has WBA playing and doing well again, in the mix for a playoff run

City's opponents on 11/5/85 of course Finn. I keep an eye on them too. Outstanding season for the Imps. Scubala was destined for greatness after our 2-2 at Old Trafford

Well done Skubz, done a brilliant job there.
Just hope we're not playing them next year. When I was living in Lincoln, they just got relegated to the Conference, so it's been an amazing turn around for the club.

Re: Michael Skubala-Permanent 1st team coach
We moved to Lincoln in 1974 and I lived there until going away to Uni (or Poly, as it was back in the day) in 1982, so used to go to Sincil Bank and watch the Imps when Graham Taylor and Colin Murphy were managers.......Div 3 or Div 4 fare.
From memory it was Colin Murphy who was manager when Lincoln beat Bournemouth 9- 0 (still the highest scoring win I've ever seen) in Harry Redknapp's first game as Bournemouth manager. The clubs have somewhat had different success since then though.
If he keeps going like he is, Skubs will soon be up there will with GT in the halls of LCFC greatness.

One championship team for another, he must see Bristol City as a better opportunity going forward.
Lincoln fans will be gutted, massive points total last season.

Tbf Bristol City do have PL potential, although Lansdown is making a mess of it. Supposedly he wants to use City to fund his beloved rugby team instead. You'd expect Lincoln will towards the bottom, whereas BC will be close to the top 8 (as it is now).

Re: Michael Skubala
He's seigned a new deal at Lincoln apparently. Quite a show of loyalty from him as BC likely have more money, more potential etc.

Confirmed now on a three year deal. I hope he does well there, I would like to see them in the PL.
