GOLF COMP 2026 RULES.
1. Select 3 players from the list that add up to a minimum of 101/1
You can choose a completely different trio for every major.
2. Your final total of the trio added together is the total for that major and is carried forward. The lowest score wins. In other words if your trio is -5/-3/+3 then you are -5 total.
3. Missed cut. I’m going with a +3 penalty. I want to keep it competitive. Tempted by 0 but lets go with +3
This is added to your total trio score if applicable.
4. Bonus. -5 for the winner of each major if included in your trio. -2 for the runner up.
If you select the winner and they are 66/1 or bigger you get an additional -2 bonus.
5. You can change your trio prior to the first tee time of each major however would appreciate just 1 or 2 done at the same time.
No rule re player selection. So you can reuse a player multiple times. I pondered limiting this to only selecting a player once through all 4 majors but too complicated.
