I don’t disagree, he has a good relationship with Farke without a doubt. That hug was on a par to some of my hug the manager games at local curry houses many years ago. Not sure if this is a game which resonates with anyone. We used to see how many in our group could hug the manager for at least 30 seconds, at whatever establishment we visited.
Shaking hands for 30 seconds was also another game and less likely to involve the manager trying to escape.

I mean Farke is on record for ignoring medical advice if you insist on blaming someone. . . . .
I wasn't I just asked a question.

His injury record isn't that bad, he's played 30 games or more every season bar this one in 8 of the last 9 seasons.Johnthewhite wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2026 3:40 pm He must be magically talented if he can win a game from the treatment room.
Is that a game on Fifa![]()

Cruciate injuries are unavoidable and are in no way linked to biscuit issues like sprains and strains. They're also likely to affect future performance. I think I'd pass and it's moot anyway Spuds ain't going down

You just decided to make an issue where one didn't exist
All I did was say I was surprised he was risked.
You've turned it into some awful attack.

Hello. We stayed up with 3 (
) games to spare people.
Look at the stats for the last 23 games ffs.
Go on find a negative in those.
Now stop bickering.
Thank you.

Are medical team have worked wonders for DCL this season, so why not let them loose on Maddison. Get him for a good price because of his past injuries, then show Spurs what can be done when you have good people looking after the players.
If Spurs were to go down he would be worth a punt.

I dred to think what the managers of those establishments you visited thought when people were hugging them for toooooo longDDB220 wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2026 3:34 pm I don’t disagree, he has a good relationship with Farke without a doubt. Is that aimed at weasel who's name calling or CJay who's just posting valid opinion?

Well said Sir, but it was three games. You must do better if you quote statistics.
I have no problem with him playing Struijk. It is not going to be a career ending condition and the season is done and dusted in many regards. Whatever Farke does or doesn’t do certain people find fault. It is tiresome - he has achieved what he needed to and yet some will only look for any reason to criticise him.
Whilst he is there to be shot at, as it comes with the territory try a considered aimed shot rather than just slinging mud.

This has gone ridiculous.
A player who was an injury risk before the game was risked and got injured again in the same place he had the injury before.
So a simple "I'm surprised he was risked" has become some terrible attack because others decided to make a mountain out of a molehill.
When all it was was a simple observation.

I suppose it’s just an observation of people who seem incapable of being happy. If you look at those stats that were posted by myself & Barlow it is incredibly hard not to be impressed. A manager who’s previous history in this league was pretty awful has proved he can indeed keep a team in this league. Thats it really not a go at an individual poster. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2026 6:39 pm Is that aimed at weasel who's name calling or CJay who's just posting valid opinion?

Fairly sure Cjay said he’d do a dance in leather shorts aka Alan Partridge if Farke kept us up.DDB220 wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2026 6:52 pm Well said Sir, but it was three games. You must do better if you quote statistics.

I think he, CJay, is perfectly happy, especially if he can get his opinion across without being called a snake.Jaydog wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2026 7:29 pm I suppose it’s just an observation of people who seem incapable of being happy.
