Calvert-Lewin for me

He cost us nothing.

Scored 15 goals.

Strikers are priceless in the PL, a goalscorer with 15 goals on his CV would cost £50 million plus.

Along with Haaland & Thiago, DCL has been in my Fantasy League Team, sod the pretenders.

Worked his bollocks off.

He doesn't cheat like some of knobhead PL strikers.

30 starts & 8 sub appearances, after the whole football world insisted he was injury-prone.

A leader on the pitch & in the dressing-room.

A genuinely nice bloke.

Where would we have been without his goals & presence?

DCL for the reasons ‘64 mentioned.

Justin has been a revelation for a signing who was signed as a back-up player.

Our highest scoring defender with three goals & two assists to his name.

The Paul Madeley of the current Leeds team.

It’s a toss up between DCL & Bijol. DCL had 15 goals but his defensive work was excellent as well whereas Bijol must have saved us at least 20 goals including 2 or more on Sunday. If the next transfer window is as good as last season I’ll be more than happy.

Anton Stach, by a country mile. Justin next.... they're the quality pair almost certain to play big parts next season

After that we could probably do with upgrades though Bijol is a decent sweeper should we play one next season. He only started half the games this

I think Okafor is massively overrated but he can finish or he's had things go his way. when he goes throug ha goal drought, and he will, he doesn't bring much else for me..

Not seen enough of Bornauw

Gudmundsson very solid, but needs end product if he's going to play wing back. We also need a second left footed wing back and if we spend big on one Gudds is headed for the bench

Sounds like Perri will be moving though not sure we'll get money back on him

We got more than we hoped for from DCL, very good season for him, he's a Bamford plus but I'd like better.

It's strange how we can interpret a season compared to stats, Ampadu would be my player of the season yet his stats are pretty bad

Ampadu had a number of poor games, but he did a great job as captain so that's driven the vote here for him I think, not so much his football. He did finish the season well, as did DCL, and recency bias plays a huge part in these things.

DCL got my vote because he cost us nothing and gave us everything - goals, work-rate, leadership.

Stach, Guds, - absolutely excellent all the way through, fantastic recruitment.

Justin, Bijol - arrived slightly later to the party but did the job superbly second half of the season when called upon.

So did Okafor, but for some reason I'm less convinced by him. Can't explain it - consistency, reliability, I don't know. He's been excellent since Christmas and we needed his goal contribution when DCL had his barren run, but I still have a nagging doubt about him. Never SOTS for me anyway.

The great thing is that they have all done really well. Much better than the 1 gem and 9 turds approach under Orta.

I would go for Justin just due to the versatility which has been crucial for us.

Okafor shouldn't be on there (for me). I went for Bijol as I said he'd be a brilliant signng and, again, I was berated and ridiculed by some for it. He is phkn SOLID! No nonsense shick brithouse (which I said we needed more than once over the years). I also think Bornauw is a solid signing but he has not had the game time to settle/develope. He's a better player than we have seen.

In real terms, Stach is our best signing but I've plumped for Bijol as he is the kind of player I like: a lot...

Stach brings quality to an area of the team where we are lacking so that swung it for me. Our overall recruitment proved better than many of us thought though I still think we were fortunate generally with injuries particularly to those like DCL, nmecha and okafor with questionable history. We have scope to strengthen in the summer without disrupting the spine and spirit of the team to continue to push on towards the top half.
