Re: Leeds United Thread - Highest/Lowest this season

Post by 1964white »

Since returning to the starting XI in the 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace, Jaka Bijol has made more clearances (75) and more headed clearances (49) than any other Premier League player.

Leeds have lost just two of their last 17 Premier League games with Bijol in the XI.

We conceded two of the three goals after Jaka had been subbed at West Ham.

Hi 1964White, in your stats table, our biggest away win was at Wolves 1-3, not at Manchester United.

It was noticeable how players who get slated such as Okafor, Aaronson, Nmecha & DCL were involved in the build-up to our goals.

Assuming Darlow, Rodon, Ampadu, James & Wilson play in a game next season, it'll be the first time five non-Englishmen of the same nationality 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 have played in a game for Leeds since January 1985 - Wright, McCluskey, Lorimer, Gray & Gavin of Scotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This is interesting

IF it was always 3 points for a win, the table for every season in history would look like this

1 - Liverpool - 7,392
2 - Arsenal - 7,231
3 - Everton - 6,964
4 - Manure - 6,806
5 - Villa - 6,376
6 - Man City - 5,818
7 - Chelsea - 5,468
8 - Spurs - 5,447
9 - Newcastle 5,246
10 - Sunderland - 4,612
11 - WBA - 4,091
12 - Wolves - 3,736
13 - Blackburn - 3,705
14 - Bolton - 3,692
15 - Wednesday - 3,552
16 - West Ham - 3,467
17 - Derby - 3,312
18 - Sheff Utd - 3,266
19 - Leeds - 3,236
20 - Burnley - 3,170
-----------------------------------------------------
21 - Forest 3,128
22 - Boro - 3,071

Pre Revie and we’d probably be in the late 30’s on that list.
