England picked themselves up a bit, more or less on a par with India now

It just can, they must have changed the rules at some point as it wasn't that when I umpired ....

Well done Archer, single off the last ball, keeps the strike

10 from 12 so should do this

Excellent game of cricket. Bethell played very well and yes, I think the two no balls handed the impetus to England. Bethell played them perfectly.

McCullum finally sacked as Test coach. Stays as coach for ODI's and Mickey Mouse stuff. Key remains in job which is baffling.

Would have liked to have seen how McCullum did on his own. Always felt a bit like Stokes was sometimes too big of a personality.

Yorks going well as they try to qualify, Hants win at Sussex to go through to the QF's

Yorks joins Hants to make the QF's with Northants, Notts, and Gloucester

Now we both need Essex to beat Surrey as that would give Yorks a home draw Wednesday and make us win our division. I think if Surrey win

Northants
Notts
Surrey
Hants get home draws

Somerset could use a win to get in for sure, later

Looks like Essex will beat Surrey by a long way

So Yorkshire should get a home QF

Is anyone reading these important updates?

Anyway it should be

Northants, Notts, Hants, Yorks at home.
Somerset, Surrey, Gloucester, Essex are away

Wednesday for the quarters and next weekend for finals day

Here's my guess if it's seeded based on points and run rate

Northants (1) v Gloucester (8)
Hants (2) v Essex (7)
Notts (3) v Surrey (6)
Yorks (4) v Somerset (5)

Edited as Somersets rout of Worcestershire has them passing Surrey's run rate

No easy games though and Essex turned us over last week IIRC

Always reading but zero interest in the format. I imagine we'll only get beat by bloody Hampshire once again at some stage

Our recent record against them is awful across all formats and I'm dreading the game in the CC where another defeat to them could badly damage our survival prospects.
