I still don't know why I lost points on my three Spanish defenders, as I didn't play the clean sheet shield.

Because Spain conceded, so you lost the clean sheet bonus

what the clean sheet shield does is allows your defenders to concede one goal and not have it affect the cleansheet bonus. So basically Spain won 2-0 for those of us with the shield in place. You've still to use that in the semi or final.

64, you're not alone in finding the wildcards/clean shield a tad confusing.

I was OK up until the 2nd round, but then I think used some when I didn't mean to and tbh, didn't really take the time to read and understand what their benefit was.

Only forwards don't score clean sheet shield points. I've played mine for the semis, got Kane in for Haaland.

But, I'll keep Mbappe and Messi in.

Make your subs, play a bonus (clean shield or double captain) and you never know. I've used my bonuses bar double captain and we all know that fails a lot. You're probably just favourite from the top three right now as Rents has also played his bonuses bar captain.

Made his keeper his captain, paid off atm, but he has used him... I've switched out mine (Mbappe 2pts) for Messi. I still have 7 to go, Rents will drop 4 points before the England game assuming he makes transfers.
