I went away on my golf society three day break last month and got the wooden spoon. 36th out of 36!! And I'm chairman of the society! I've been running it for 18 years and never been close to last but this year the wheels well and truly came off.

It started out with 8 people for the first year, then 20 for a year, and it grew rapidly after that and has been 36 for about the last 10 years. I've got people on a waiting list as I won't go any higher than that as the wait between the first group and last group finishing becomes too long
