Need a second left footed CB, and if we get Shea Charles he's a CB/Sweeper/DMF/CMF anyway. Think we'd have to promise Mavrapanos playing time for him to come. His value is around 20M

We seem to be after Trafford for 35-40
Charles for 25
We absolutely need a striker unless Farke is going to use Piroe this year. (30M plus)
AMF - If it's Brandt it's be a big sign on and record wages I reckon, if not then 20-40M
If we’re going to buy a cheap option we may as well keep Bornauw, he’s never let us down.

We’ve only spent net £14m so far, and the Muha fee gets spread over 5 years on the books.

£60m for Trafford, Brandt & Charles leaves us room for a striker - fee again amortised.

With outgoings on top.

I love spending other people’s money.

16M net... 34 on Muharemovic, 15 for Struijk, 2 for Schmidt and 1 for Boast

Silly me, I was just looking at the accepted wisdom that the Struijk figure was £18m.

Where are you getting £15m from?

Very underrated for me is Bornauw, never complaining, never lets us down, just cracks on with the job.

There has to be an outstanding Bundesliga goalie with Farke connections that could be obtained for far less than Trafford. A GK equivalent to the Stach signing is what I’m hoping for. That’s how this castle will get rebuilt…

Falling apart.
To the fans who had a meltdown over Red Bull being on the shirt, how would they cope with Trafford? :roflmao:

Most sites are showing an initial 15 plus 3M in add ons .... The add ons have to be earned you know, we don't get them for him turning up for training. We may never see them.

Hasn't he stated a wish to go play somewhere where he gets minutes? He's good enough to start for us but is going to need an injury to play this season...

He has, and unsurprisingly so.

You’re right, he ain’t playing much next season, especially when we have just paid £35M for a new player.

I’d love to keep him, as mentioned, very underrated player but I suspect he may be sacrificed for a few quid, particularly if he, as you say, wants a starting berth.

We had three CBs plus Bornauw who covered us in both the CB/RB positions in 16 appearances last season.

So why would we want to get rid of him?

Nobody said get rid of him! He wants regular football so we might not have a say in it. Pay attention soldier! :soldier:

No, most sites are saying £18m plus £2m in add-ons.

Certainly YEP, Leeds Live, the Athletic and reliable bloggers like Ger Lynch.

The £15m figure was floated after the initial £20m claim then discredited. I know because I was raging.

OK most of my sites are showing 15 plus three which was the original quote anyway...

Never considered Ger Lynch particularly reliable.

The Derby County keeper - Jacob Widell Zetterström - is worthy of consideration IMHO...........

I think the 49'ers have tricks up their sleeve regarding the key signings we need! Tarik was a surprise to me. Both BIG signings dragged on (Wilson/Tarik) but contrary to my thoughts, the owners had these deals in the bag. I think they may drop a biggy on us at some point. I'm beginning to trust Maraath et al...

Apparently, a famous Leeds fan with LUFC connections was at the Brid v Leeds game today, said the Trafford deal will be announced soon, as personal terms are already agreed.

Without mentioning his name, I know the bloke.
