A Canadian standing next to me was bemused by all the attention Radar got. His fame hasn’t reached Canada apparently.

It has Jay, but you have to watch the DP Tour coverage - which many Canadians ignore - their loss imo, as its way more interesting than watching most PGA Tour events - which are formulaic and dull, not least becauae of the commentators.

I love Radar and Tony Johnstone, who adds his own touch of knowledge and humour.

There are only 2 or 3 events (majors aside) on the PGA Tour that I watch. All these young American players - highly skilled of course - but its like they are churned out of some factory or other. Look the same, dress the same, swing the same. Courses are all pure green with manicured bunkers - a big snore really, lost its character.
I love the way the DP Tour does an Asian swing and an African swing before the European summer.

I watch both tours. Probably more PGA than DP.
But tend to watch the top events more than anything.
The college system in the US is incredible at turning out ready made winners.

Dunno why they are trying to drive holes when it's windy and there are loads of obstacles.
