If we got another left back, are we going to be able to buy someone that is better than JJ but happy to sit on the bench?

Similarly if we bought a striker would that striker be starting ahead of DCL or competing for a back up spot with Nmecha and Piroe?

So for me (as long as JT officially signs) I am fine with what we have but priority would be a back up keeper that is better than Cairns - but that ain't a fricking option. Substandard poll unfortunately for me and we'd have been better off waiting for Maurice (PJM) to do a proper one.
i agree - my polls are what is needed
Leeds need a great summer 2026 with outgoings and incoming players

I went for defense. I think we need cover/competition for Gudmundsson. The profile of the player doesn't have to be exactly the same. But he MUST be left footed. And have the ability to get forward even if he's more of a defensive player.

back up striker given DCLs injury record and the periods when he disappears for a few games. we also need left back cover and a number 10 but we will have to make do if we can't attract upgrades on what we've got. also a back up keeper but should be able to get a loan deal for an experienced keeper willing to play second fiddle to JT.

Nmecha? Back up striker is really difficult to get, has to be someone worse than DCL (and DCL is premiership average) while being better than Nmecha or Piroe who'd probably score 10 plus if he got a full season.

I think we will see back up keeper and probably a flexible defender, left footed, who can play centrally or at full back.

Might be after that we keep our powder dry so that we can buy in January if a real need arises.

Backups: GK/LWB. Max Aarons being touted. Fast and can play left/right. Worked under DF at Nowrich.

I'd love to see a #10 or a #9. We won't get both so likely a #10. I have a sneaking suspicion we have money for another biggy...
