Was just thinking the same thing this morning OB. I've enjoyed watching the games and when I looked at the Championship table this morning I thought Thank goodness we aren't in it. Let's keep it that way!
Good result I thought, away to a promotion rival. They were the better side for most of it but conceded a daft pen then got unlucky with a mis hit shot and deflection late on
It's really strange how many games are decided in the last 5 minutes these days... never used to happen much

It was a good result to a certain degree, however at 0-2 with ten minutes to go, West Ham should have won that game.
Those same fans travel to every away game, a long journey up to Burnley, I can understand their disappointment.

Some expensive players in it.
Quite a few of them have done well at the top level at some point same as we had or at Championship level.
7 academy players in that squad vs Burnley, 2 starting.

I know we won't know until the transfer window closes, but in your opinion, do you think they will have a more expensive squad than we did ?
I ask as I think you said previously ours was the most expensive ever, or did I make that up

Wages yeah it was, 2nd I think based on official published accounts.

It must have been the wages that was quoted at the time. Just struck me that the current squad is not far from a Premier League level and wages to boot.
The biggest problem that Wet Spam have is their entitled and expectant fans. They think all their team has to do is turn up, play with a swagger and take home the points. They are in for a rude awakening in the Championship
