In the last two seasons, James Trafford has conceded a goal, on average, every 192 minutes (29 in 62 games). Roughly one every two and a bit games with an 81.4% save percentage.

16 in 45 for Burnley in the Championship despite Burnley's expected goals against being higher than ours.

Guessing then, unless 64 is a lying sc*mbag, that it then means he conceded 13 in 17 games for City in various competitions (unless the figures also count cup appearances for Burnley but fairly sure he didn't play in their FA Cup matches and no idea about the carabou cup matches for Burnley).

Official site

Leeds United can confirm Joël Piroe has joined Sky Bet Championship side West Ham United on loan for the remainder of the 2026/27 season.

The Surinamese striker joined the Whites from Swansea City in August 2023 after scoring 19 goals the season prior.

The now 27-year-old made his debut against Ipswich Town in the second tier two days after signing and netted his first goal for Daniel Farke’s side in the clash. He then went on to play on 53 occasions and scored 16 in all competitions that season.

The following campaign, Piroe made 48 appearances and netted 19 times as the Whites were crowned champions and made a return to the Premier League, collecting the Golden Boot for his goal tally.

Piroe now joins a West Ham side looking to bounce back to the Premier League at the first attempt, following relegation last season.

Everyone at Leeds United would like to wish Joël the best of luck at the London Stadium.

If that's true it looks like we get 4 M up front? That would seem reasonable

Has been, on paper, a good pre-season in terms of shifting out players surplus to requirements and bringing in players that improve the starting XI. Whilst some of the fees we have received seem a bit low and maybe some of the fees spent appear high it does at least mean we have got the players we really wanted and got ride of players we don't rather than them staying for another season, then another etc.

I certainly feel we are stronger now than we were at this point last season. Not just the new signings but that our players from last year now know they are good enough for the prem.

Hopefully a comfortable season without any threat of relegation and then towards the end of the season it is just a case of how high we can finish and maybe a cup run too.

I may have to give my head a good shake come the end of the season, as I've predicted us to finish 7th. :-D

The current squad is probably the strongest we've had in the Premier League in 25 years.

Yeah no obvious weaknesses in the starting line-up (people will have opinions etc but everyone I would say is premier league quality/proven) and a decent level of back-up.

Ideally we get Elvedi in and a back-up keeper and then I think we are set. Another striker would allay any fears in regard to DCL and Nmecha both breaking down.

Leeds United are delighted to announce the signing of Swiss international Nico Elvedi who joins the club in a permanent deal from Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The defender becomes our fourth new addition of the summer window and brings a wealth of experience to Daniel Farke’s squad.

Coming through the youth ranks of hometown side FC Zürich, the centre-half made his senior debut in a 2014 meeting with Lausanne-Sport.

After 26 appearances for the club, Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach came calling for the then-teenager's signature, securing the services of the defender prior to the 2015/16 season.

In his debut campaign at Borussia-Park, Nico featured 21 times in the German top-flight and made two appearances in the UEFA Champions League, gaining vital top-level experience at a young age.

That began a glittering service to the North Rhine-Westphalia club that spanned over a decade, in which time he made 364 appearances, scoring 19 goals, and helped the team qualify for European competition on several occasions.

Have up to 3 spaces left if we don't dip into the 21's

ATM I'd have

Leinou
Cresswell
Chambers or Mills as the three final players
Surely one of those spaces will be filled with a no 2 keeper. I sincerely hope so.
