Positive: Win
Negative: Still not much creativity from open play and likely to be Set Piece Leeds again this year

P: Even though we weren't at our fluent best we looked solid. Wilson looked lively.
N: Can't really think of anything.

P. A win that will balance out games we should win but don’t.

N. Only from a football fan perspective, both teams played exactly the same system and it showed.

Positive
WE WON!!! Last season that would have ended in a draw at best, or we would have conceded the late goal to lose.

Negative
I thought we were overrun a bit in the middle of the park. Farke will need to keep an eye on that and be willing to tweak the formation from 3-4-2-1 to a 3-5-2. Today he made the change, albeit late, and it worked. I guess that's a positive negative. ;-)

Positive: Trafford looking like he’s well worth the money we paid for him

Negative: can’t really see one. If we keep playing like this away from Elland Road we’re sure to survive comfortably.

P The first time we've won at Forest since 1991, a ground I visited several times & never seen us win there.

N I was hoping for more from Wilson, I'm sure he'll come good.

I was impressed with Wilson to be honest.
He's a very clever player, who isnt always visible, but he reads the game so well. He also linked up well with Aaronson. He was unucky with the offside.

The weakness today for me was DCL. He was all over the place, a yard slow and no real threat.
Not a good game for him. But just means he's got a good one coming.
But we need attacking cover for him.

The reason he was all over the place was because he was looking for space - They had three centre backs, no point hitting it long to a player not willing to try and find space.

To me the bigger reason was we seemed to be playing 3-4-3 and not 3-4-2-1, maybe to match them ??
I think DCL is better as a roving lone striker being supplied by 2 behind him. He seemed to struggle at times with Wilson and Aaronson beside him.
He's still great value though as he husstles in both boxes.
But he seemed a bit flat today to me.

I agree with regard to our shape. Bogle and Justin really didn't get forward to provide any width. They mostly stayed home, which meant that Aaronson and Wilson were drifting wider. I think that was somewhat by design, but it did limit us. It will be interesting to see how we approach things at home against Brentford.

Positive - 3 points at the City Ground, what a great result. Forest are a top 10 side and we dug in and found a way.

Neg - Not much really, we miss Gabby on the left, Justin can do a job but that side is a problem for us.

I saw us win here back in about 1965 when we beat Scumchester 1-0 in an FA cup second replay

These are the type of away matches we weren't winning last season.

Hopefully the first of seven I predicted in the away wins poll last week.
