Jeez Andrew, Harry has gone on loan to Sheffield Wednesday, heavily reported here. Chambers has had injuries and may not be back to fitness yet

BBC's young player to watch for Leeds United


When 19-year-old midfielder Alfie Cresswell makes his senior debut for Leeds, he will be the third member of his family to do so.

His dad Richard was a striker for the Whites from 2005 to 2007 and older brother Charlie, a defender who has represented the England Under-21s, came through the ranks at Elland Road and made 14 senior appearances before a £3.8m move to French side Toulouse in 2024.

Alfie Cresswell is the captain of the under-21s, featuring in the Vertu Trophy last season, and was an unused substitute in Leeds' last two Premier League matches of 2025-26.

But a first senior Leeds start is not too far away, as he was included in their squad for the tour of the United States, playing in the 3-2 friendly loss to Wrexham in Florida and the 1-0 win over Sunderland in New Jersey.

No, not really, as it appears we're getting battered.

I lived in Borehamwood (in those days it was spelt as one word, although now it appears as two 'Boreham Wood') from '87-'91, given my first job after Uni.

I enjoyed it, but it was always a place, on an evening out, where you sensed it could all kick off at any second.... half the town were Arsenal and the other half, Spurs.

Rumour I heard this morning.

Spurs and ManCity are sniffing around Charlie (14) and Jacob (13) Gray whom both currently in our academy. It is also said Leeds are trying hard to hide and shield them as they have similar talents to their cousins Archie and Harry.

Of course they are, both just poach rather than produce their own. I think being Leeds means they'll want to stay. Man City and Spuds both tried to poach Harry Gray too but he wanted to stay.
