Mostly but there's definitely an argument to be had about positional and tactical selections..

Yeah I guess... I still think that Longstaff with a proper run would offer far more than aarronsson while coming on with fresh legs to close out games would play to aaronssons game.

Other than that, okafor or Wilson? I'd like to see Wilson play behind DCL to see if it can bare fruit...

Longstaff negates Stach imo, can't have both in the same team, same player occupying the same space but Stach is a lot better. Tanaka or Gruev for me, alongside Ampadu and Stach. Gruev gives us that intelligent cultured defensive mid, the perfect foil for Ampadu's Sgt Major all effort type

Yeah I agree on the stach/longstaff front, its just that Tanaka/Gruev seem too lightweight for me in the prem.... Tanaka probably has the mobility and technical skill in tight areas but still turns over posession too much. Whereas Gruev is a lightweight version of Ampadu... Hasn't got the mobility or physical side to boss like Ampadu, probably a better passing range though so get what ya mean about the cultured part of his game.

I think this 11 was crying out for a creative brandt type player to add a little more intelligence to the counter and give Starch more room to operate. That an a 10, 9.... Extra cb and I'd be happy

I'm just baffled by the wingers we seem to be going for. One position. We have a few in, yet don't play in our squad.

Like the left back though.... Very very good buy who will push Gudmundsson for a starting spot fit or not.
