Yes as I think last time he was judged too quickly and harshly by Tommy Tuchel so giving Dom a chance against better quality nations would make sense.

Yes but don’t want him playing friendlies and risking injury.
He’ll never start ahead of Kane in any serious game.

Yes but the last thing we need is him getting injured. The international breaks help him get through the season.

Yes I would say so, probably means alot to him personally. However as stated above, don't think he gets near the starting 11 for a meaningful game.

It would be nice for Dominic.
But of much more importance is that Harry Wilson gets his mojo back, gets his timing back, by playing every minute for Wales.
He will still not make the starting line up, for Leeds, after the break, but he will be sensational off the bench. IMO.

I went unsure.
Be nice for him personally
But don't want him risking injuries or a potential confidence blow.
I don't think he suits Tuchel style, not gonna get lots of long balls to fight in the air for or crosses.
It will be very much to feet or in behind, neither really suit him.
They aren't cannon fodder teams either, I'd worry he'd struggle and have his confidence impacted.

Probably applies to Bogle too.
Farke utilises his players differently compared to other coaches.
I can't see Bogle being allowed to drift into an opponents box like a No.10 does, in the England set-up.

Farke has had to adapt.
Tuchel hasn't.
Tuchel is one of Farke's mentors.
I think as you say Bogle and DCL would struggle for Tuchel same as they did for us last season before we adapted.
The style wouldn't suit them.
Be nice to get a cap for them personally though as a reward

I voted yes, hot start to the season and he should be able to ride that wave. We really need a Kane replacement coming through also though

For the suggestion of not suiting Englands style - he does when we are desperately pumping balls into the box when we are chasing a goal. Kane plays far deeper these days, to profit from “get it in the mixer desperation” you need to bring on a DCL.

Same as for Bogle. Yes he deserves a call up (my vote), but would rather he didn't from the selfish point of view.

In my opinion we should be offering DCL an improved contract now before he gets into his final year next summer. Yes he’s pushing 30 but his game isn’t about pace and surely he’s more than justified a new deal.

This is another reason why I don't like our players being called up. Coaches with different ideas and tactics. 3 weeks they're gonna be away from Farke's coaching sessions with some other Tom Dick or Harry trying to instill a different style of playing when clearly what they are used to at Thorpe Arch and Premier league games under Farke which so far has been successful for us.

For me the question is who, apart from Kane, are the english strikers that are better than him? Answers on a very small postcard.

Well the way to deal with that for all club supporters is to shut down all international football.. Or how about we go the same way cricket does.whiteswan wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2026 3:07 pm This is another reason why I don't like our players being called up. I voted YES but it was a vote more in line with DCL getting a reward of sorts for his good start to the season. I'm sure it would mean a lot to him, as it does to all players who get picked for their country.
From a Leeds point of view i would say no, we need him fit and not picking up some silly injury, but then that applies to all players who turn out for their country. Some you win, some you lose.

2 weeks was boring enough, why 3 now?

He deserves a call-up, but I hope he doesn't get one, purely out of selfishness. I want him healthy for Leeds United.
