I have no problems with opinions, what annoys me is the line I was right etc. In one particular case, I am nearly always right. The truth is you are not, you need to get over this delusional high opinion of yourself.

BORING is runing away with the poll, yet at the same time in the thread there are some who express the opinion that debate and opinions are essential to keep the board alive.

I have to assume that civilized respectful debate is OK but if it degenerates into attacking a person's character or motivations rather than a position or argument, then that is not permitted.

It never takes that long, it starts after 5 minutes when we are not winning by 3 or 4 goals, when a player makes a mistake ( they are never allowed to do that ) or Farke hasn't made changes by half time.

My main thought is: Why are there so few people engaging in verbal jousting. (90% football, 10% other).

I am just curious. RTG Sunderland Message Board is absolutely freaking huge. The Régis Le Bris thread has 478,000 views. The deadine day thread was almost impossible to follow with multiple posts every 2 seconds.

Our forum is moderated by mature individuals who act with caution and good humour. When other fans tell us "what Leeds fan are saying" (for example The Griffin Park Grapevine) they quote motforum. Now.....that may be because another well known Leeds United forum cannot be be viewed by anyone and everyone. But it is still true.

So, looking at the massive Leeds fanbase, right across the world, why is this forum not as busy as RTG? I am not talking about quality. Just size.

That's nothing, Waccoe's mental health thread has half a million views. Waccoe is comfortably the biggest Leeds forum on the web, we're more of a village here. I use both Waccoe where I have over 100k posts and this one (79k? ish) everyday
