PSG would frighten me to death if Leeds had to play them.
Not going to happen this season, thankfully.
Would be a joy to watch live though!
That greatness would be a rare treat.

PSG v Bayern last season was better and also it was at the knockout stages so a much more important match. Second leg was excellent too.

I just knew the No's would be in early on here.
What have you been watching?
62 years watching football & I can't recall anything as incisive & precise as that.
And I was at the Leeds 7-0 Southampton game & also witnessed live the majority of the greats in British football.

Two clubs linked by cheating the system to get where they are and a certain corrupt scumbag by the name of Infantino lurking in the background. Fantastic football but it still leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.1964white wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2026 8:17 am I just knew the No's would be in early on here.

Quite a few Barcelona games from ten to fifteen years ago.
Liverpool beating Barcelona having been slaughtered in the first leg a few years ago.
Are you talking about exciting skilful games or just perfect passing like the first half hour last night?
Some of my favourite games have been more exciting than last nights game.
Leeds v Stuttgart at ER is one of my favourite Leeds performances, also beating Liverpool 4-3 at Wembley.
France v Portugal ‘84 Euros
Germany v Italy ‘70 WC
France v Brazil ‘86 WC
To name a few.

Didn't see the game so can't really comment.

Like the French international team, PSG are playing the best football in the world right now.
I've also witnessed all the great Brazilian, Spanish, Argentinian, German, British teams.
Nothing was as slick & as precise as that, against a world class team too.

You were watching Villa hammering some Turkish team.
The link above tells the story, you only have to watch the first three minutes to be memorized.
Leeds scored a similar goal to PSG's first at Sunderland last season.

The political side of the game is the reason for not acknowledging that it was top drawer football from PSG.

I watched the West Ham game.... All I could get without using an illegal stream which I only risk for Leeds

Think you have to have seen the whole game, the goals are good but we scored a lot of those under Bielsa, two of them needed a fair amount of luck including the great save which went in...
Best goal, last night, I saw was west Ham's second from Austbø and he looks a class footballer at 21. Another inverted winger but aren't they all these days. First team to switch back might do very well for a while

That game was a non-event after 23 minutes mate. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2026 9:12 am I watched the West Ham game.... All I could get without using an illegal stream which I only risk for Leeds
Have you ever thought of acquiring IPTV?

I think you are underestimating the quality of those goals, mate. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2026 9:20 am Think you have to have seen the whole game, the goals are good but we scored a lot of those under Bielsa
The first move starts on their own goalline & it was incisive, slick passing from there on, the shot is kept low precisely in the corner making it difficult for Citeh's keeper to save.
The second goal comes from more slick play, the dinked cross is sensational, unlike some of the crossing we see from the current Leeds team.
The third goal once again is quality, the beautiful back-flick to create a fantastic strike.
I could watch those goals all day long & think WOW!
We've scored odd goals like that in games, but PSG produce three fantastic goals in 30 minutes.
It's on par with what I want to achieve in my sport bowls. I often bowl one wood onto the jack, however finding the consistency to place two or three bowls consistently on the jack is much more difficult. I'm getting there as I've been on fire in my last couple of games.

If you want to to reach the next level you should hire Luis Enrique as your bowls coach1964white wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2026 10:35 am I think you are underestimating the quality of those goals, mate.

Decent but no.
Pep's Barcelona used to score goals like this on the weekly.
