Jeez Dan, where did you drag that one up from?

At least we know Grayson has taken his time assessing Nunez before signing him. Does look a bit special on YouTube though. Hope he lives up to it in a Leeds shirt.

A colleage of mine at CSRN is a long time FC Dallas fan and saw Nunez play with them. Reckons that even back then, Ramon showed a maturity above his age with his soccer skills. Reads the game well and gets into great scoring positions and isn't afraid to go for goal...can score from impossible angles, as well.
Thinks Nunez is a great acquisition for us and will be an immediate success!

Lets judge him on the pitch though, because You Tube is deceptive.

Imagine, put Mikey Grellas best moments for us on there and he'd look like Van Basten

True, and he has a couple of very good players to get ahead of at the moment too.

I don't understand why there was no mention of him on the bench yesterday? Grayson thought highly enough of him to take him on after a trial, so why didn't he get a glimpse of first team action yesterday?

He isn't match fit yet...he will play for the reserves on Tuesday and possibly get a 1st team bench place at the Donny game, depending on his performance for the ressies.

So the behind closed doors game is over and Leeds beat Boro 3-1

Nunez scored a well-taken goal for United, while Mike Grella picked up a confidence
boosting brace, the second a close range header following a Nunez cross.

Snoddy and Paynter also played 90 mins

I wonder if Nunez makes it into the team

Come on Ramon!

Why hasn't he been training? He's a pro and should be ready.

Slacker it seems.

Possibly cos he's been on two 7 hour flights and been sitting around in offices for a week to get his visa sorted?

Nah...that don't sit still with me.

He's a pro and he should be training when he can. If that means sitting around in offices all day and training at night, then welcome to the real world.

Slacker in the making.

No doubt he was playing keepy uppy in the office waiting rooms and organised a 5 a side match on the plane trips. But the fact remains he isn't match fit and nor could he be expected to be.

I wouldn't expect him knock over the receptionist's coffee pot doing keepy uppy in the office but I would expect him to have in the remotest corner of his mind that he might just get the green light to able to play. Mind you he is a footballer....thick as .......

Can't wait to see him in action - sounds like Pele, Maradona, Cruyff, Puskus, Di Stefeno, Beckenbaur and Messi rolled into one player
