Leeds Squad Numbers
Our one, our goalkeeper’s a young lad called Kasper,
At starting our attacks there is no one faster.
Number two is a scouser full born and bred,
Though he plays in the white, not blue or in red.
Paddy Kisnorbo is our number three,
He’s a stopper, a tackler, we got him for free.
Four goes by the name of Alex the Bruce,
Defending attackers- there’s never a truce.
Collins, our five, once played for Queen’s Park,
He’s twice been promoted from this Championship lark.
Six is our skipper, from Yorkshire he hails,
Nothing can stop him coz he’s hard as Nayls.
Number seven, Max Gradel, we signed from the Foxes,
His hair and green boots light up penalty boxes.
An Aussie midfielder is our number eight,
The fans are divided but to Twiggs he is great.
Our nine is a poacher, not scheming creator,
We signed him from Swindon, his name’s Billy Paynter.
Ten is Luciano, an Argentinian blonde,
Of scoring and falling he is rather fond.
Eleven, our winger, we signed from the Addicks,
He’s fast and he scores, with boxes of tricks.
Twelve, our netminder, is a man named Shane Higgs,
Or ‘The Part Time Male Model’ as referred to by Twiggs.
Mike Grella, our thirteen, has just gone to Carlisle,
He’ll score goals for them, just for a while.
Fourteen, John Howson, is a local young lad,
His two strikes v Carlisle made us all very glad.
Our fifteen, young Clayton, we signed from Man City,
We’ve not seen him too often, that’s really a pity.
Bradley Johnson, or BJ, is our number sixteen,
His left boot is a thunderous long range shooting machine.
Amdy Faye, our seventeen, is from Senegal,
We signed him to tackle, to win back the ball.
Sanchez Watt, a young Gunner, is our number eighteen,
He’s skilful and wily, not sneaky or mean.
Nineteen’s a left back, a Parker called Ben,
Free now from ailments, we all say “Amen”.
Jason Crowe, a defender, is our number twenty,
He was class v united, his block pleasured many.
Fede Bessone is our twenty one,
Playing for Swans he kept clean sheets for fun.
Twenty two, Andrew Hughes, can play anywhere,
Left back or right, not a worry or care.
Snoddy, our twenty three, is a canny young Scot,
A magic wee player, one of the best we’ve got.
Twenty five, Alan Martin, signed from The Well,
He could be a gud un- time it will tell.
Twenty six, a defender, we rescued from Blades,
Leigh Bromby at right back’s got talent in spades.
Davide Somma, a striker, is our twenty seven,
The goals that he scores are like manna from heaven.
Robbo, the scouse, we signed in League One,
Scoring for Tranmere gave us Leeds fans some fun.
Next on the list a left back we see,
Twenty nine for the Leeds is George Mc Cartney.
Our thirty’s a youngster called Hatfield or Will,
He’ll play for the Whites with a licence to thrill.
Thirty two is a speedster- his name’s Aidan White,
He’s pacy, left footed and crosses all right.
Next up is Nunez, fresh from the World Cup,
A magic midfielder, sure to be sending us up.
Now we have Elliott, a striker called Tom,
Fingers crossed he’ll start scoring some goals with aplomb.
Last on the list is number forty and four,
His name’s Ross Mc Cormack, he’s paid lots to score.

Yeah, I enjoyed that. I would have struggled thinking up something for just one player let alone the whole squad. Send it to the O/S.
