I'll be one of the lucky 1800 glory hunters at Scunny tomorrow btw as i was at the likes of Kettering, Millwall, Wycombe, etc last season
People keep going on about players making mistakes,but if mistakes were not made the team which kicked off would just go and score.Yes i know people go on about our players been of poor quality but they are the players we are stuck with.Players in higher divisions make mistakes it is called human error,how many of us can say we dont make mistakes in our employment.

We all make mistakes in life/work, etc EY but i would hope many of us don't commit the same errors with such regularity

Tbh i don't blame the players
Can see where you are coming from but it is the players who fail to control the ball or miss an easy chance i dont think there will be many people on here who have played football at a high level so none of us know what it is like to play in front of thousands of people.As i said it is the players i dont think that any manager tells his players to make them once they cross the white line they are on their own.

But if the players are not good enough OR are not being coached correctly, it is inevitable that errors will occur on a regular basis as is the case
Think I might agree with you Leon. Our coaching is terrible defenders who can't defend attacking players who can't shoot sometimes ie bj. Somma had to go on loan and work with mr sutton to make him a better player. If we had a good coaching setup then we could develop our ownn players to be better plus our young players ain't good enough or get opportunities. This club needs a good pull through and a shakeup everywhere to see us right cause if we lose on Saturday it would be disastorous. I'm going to the scunny game with the wifes family who are scunny fans so I'll get some s**t if we lose and I am sitting with them too

You can coach players as much as you like but that wont stop them making individual mistakes we had the best acadamy going but their is only one person to blame for its failure.He is the one who wouldnt buy Thorpe Arch or Elland Road but will spend money for hia pavillion and planned hotel.Once he leaves the sooner the better we may see some proper investment in the club.
1964- I think you're taking me up wrong with the glory hunters thing- i prob shouldn't have put it in my quote! Anyone who is a leeds fan ain't a glory hunter in my eyes- we march on Together! Anyhow I agree with a lot of what you're saying and possibly after these next 3/4 games if results don't turn around then it might be a good idea to look at the coaching staff or players.
Is SG playing the best 11 we have?
If so, then are they good enough to keep us safely in mid table and build on our position for next season?
Those are the questions I would ask. Possibly we'll turn a corner in the next few games and get some consistency. We need to achieve a mid table position to attract players to us next year. But if we're not going to achieve this position then we have to recognise that early and make the necessary changes for the club to move forward.

I really hope Larry can pull it around in the next few games, i fancy us to get something at Scunny & the Hull game at ER, a tad worried about the Coventry game though. If we fail to pick up substancial points in these games it could be curtains for Grayson
agree with MikeLUFC7 post...its not the defeats that concerns me its the manner of the defeats. The excuses always seem to be 'idividual mistakes'. For me the back 4 which usually consists of a mixture of Connelly, Naylor, Bruce, Collins, Bessone, McCartney (loan) are all Grayson signings. When the team are conceding, 6, 5, 4 goals in a game, questions are always going to be raised about the defence, and if Grayson is the man who signed all of them, the fans, public etc are going to question his ability to pick a player and coach.
The second goal Cardiff scored on Monday although clearly offside, i cant understand how/why Collins is 5 yards behind Bruce. I'm not excusing the linesmans decision but had Collins been in line, Chopra would have looked miles offside and that goal wouldn't have counted. Bruce is at fault for the first goal, defenders should clear there lines first and foremost, plus the ball travels 60 yards or so and its a straight ball!!! Centre halfs should never be done by a straight ball anyway, and when its travelled that far, there is no excuse.
Now, dont shoot me, but when George Graham took over Leeds, the first thing he sorted out was the backline. Not pretty, but effective. To compete in any division you have to have a strong defence. If you dont concede you dont lose. This is our first season back in the Championship, and i dont expect miracles, but i do expect us to hold our own, especially at home. At present this isn't happening.
I dont think Grayson should be sacked......yet......but if form continues the way it is going he will have to go. Rightly or wrongly managers will always be defined by results. I think Ken will give him until January and if we are in or around the bottom 3, Grayson will be gone.

I still say out but will see what happens over the next few games, they are gonna be really tough. Depends if he sticks with this team unless there are injuries or if he puts Naylor back in.
