I rated Doyle quite highly when he played for us. I hoped we would sign him. I personally think we could do with him now. I've watched Faye play a few times for Leeds this season and he looks a very average player but most of all looks terribly unfit either through carrying an injury or just basically not fit !!

Makalele did this at Real Madrid and was massively underated but when he left the Galcacticos were nothing without him. Doyle was one of our top players last season and I was surprised Grayson let him go, especially cos Doyle wanted to stay. The replacement Faye is not as good. I hope I'm wrong but I can see Doyle being man of the match on Saturday.

so how can he be MOTM if he's best when anonymous

Are we basing our impressions of Faye on only a handful of games?...

Excellent at Middlesbro', poor since

Maybe he's slightly injured & unfit as he's had no pre-season - expected more tbh

For now Howson Killa & Johnson looks the best option in a five man midfield

Yes but... The added comeptition from faye might be making BJ play better.
WE''RE LEEDS UNITED, WE''LL NEVER BE DEFEATED!

Paul Green was warnobs best signing.

Yes.

That appears to be the modus operandi of the forum in general.

Typically you don't see too many holding midfielders getting MOTM awards... Generally they go to goalkeepers who have great games, or strikers or players who score the goals. I can't remember Makalele picking up too many MOTM awards when he played for Chelsea, but he was vital to their success. Not saying Doyle was on teh same level, but sometimes certain players always fall under the radar, but their contributions are significant. An example of this is Chris McCann at Burnley when they were in the championship. According to my Burnley season ticket holding mate from uni, he rarely got the press and praise the other players got, but when they didn't play him, they missed him; Doyle was similar to that at times last year.

I liked Doyle good tackler and got stuck in, McShitfry was a poor player for us and didn't really get me going so not too bothered about him. He had though made a good start to the season for coventry.

Well, after all the critisizing of Grayson and leeds McSheffreys been doing this week, i hope Leeds make him eat his words on saturday.

Hes been ranting and raving saying he hasnt heard a word from grayson since he left leeds and that its not good man management? Well, why should our boss be in contact with him, if hes not a leeds player and simply wasnt good enough when he was here? He says its not sour grapes, but i think thats exactly what it is. haha
