Yes would only be a free if he goes at the end of the season. If he goes in January it will be for a fee. Be interesting to see if he appears in the white shirt again.

Could even go lower than that depends on who's interested and how desperate they are. I reckon 200k is the most we can expect, 100k could do the deal so that he doesn't walk for free in the summer.

I might get shot down for this, but I actually am quite pleased. I hope he goes in January for a fee, rather than for free with all the drama of should we play him should we not at critical stages at the end of the season.

I never saw a role for him in the team. With Snods and JH going great guns at the moment with Kilkenny/Faye playing a holding role....and Gradel/Sam/Watt getting back to their brilliant best, I really never saw a role for BJ in the team.

We have depth with Clayton, Nunez and Robbo too.

He's a decent versatile player to have in the squad if not the team. Has potential. Not a player we should be breaking the bank for though. Hopefully an incentive to sign a better replacement in January.

Great news. Yes, BJ is physical and he's energetic and he can head the ball but by christ is he DUMB, and no amount of coaching is going to change that. I won't shed a tear to see him go, however...

...without him, and with an ongoing question mark over Amdy Faye, our midfield looks a bit wispy. We still need a destroyer.
