Anyone use to enjoy the series Ever Decreasing Circles starring ;

Richard Briers - Martin
Penelope Wilton - Anne
Peter Egan - Paul
Sranley Lebor - Howard
Geraldine Newman - Hilda

Martin played a cantankerous middle aged man who drove his wife Anne to despair. The next door neighbour Paul a businessman had a twinkle in his eye for Anne. Howard & Hilda who were an hilarious married couple & always dressed the same completed the cast - Wonderful suburbia comedy :!:

I watched 'green street hooligans' again the other night. It got me wondering about Leeds' service crew. Are they a notorious football firm? I dont buy into violence or football hooligans, but i was just wondering about it....

I thought the first 'Goal' movie was a good football film too, not too deep or anything, just really entertaining. The sequals sucked i thought tho... Are there any other good football movies you folks know of that you could recommend?

How can I have missed this thread?!
I'm a massive filmy and my new year's resolution was to try and see 52 films at the cinema this year!

Saw Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest last night which was an excellent end to a brilliant series. Other highlights have included Precious, A Single Man, Inception, Scott Pilgrim and the aforementioned Girl With/Who series...

Really looking forward to Tron, Monsters and Catfish in the next few weeks!

Also:

Looks ridiculous, but pretty entertaining for a Christmas film

I go along with lots 'n' lots of what you guys have already said, but must add that my favourite film of all time is Highlander, it must have the best ever soundtrack in the history of cinema. Taken with that, I took the Doc to his first gig at that time, the 'Kinda Magic' tour at Koln Football Stadium in Germany....... what a night! 30 mins of a German Heavy Metal band called Kraft (not Kraftwerk), 45 minutes of Gary Moore, an hour of Level 42, an hour and a half of Marillion, and 2 solid hours of Queen. All that for the equivalent of £12 a ticket. I believe the Doc still has his ticket stubs and other memorabilia from that gig.
As for TV, I'll watch just about anything, but favourites over the years have been Monty Python, the magical Kenny Everett, the current series(s) of Reggie Perrin, and currently adore Miranda.... what a hoot she is, whoever said that there are no really funny women?

:roflmao: :hahaha:
