Re: Real v Barca
So much for "the beautiful game." Another advert for the game tarnished by these two disgraceful sides. Yet again, another golden opportunity for UEFA to step in, at the highest level, and start taking action. Retrospective bookings and fines, please. Tonight was a giant sh*t on football. Stay classy, El Classico.

Never liked Madrid, the Man Utd of the Spanish League. A club railroaded by the Spanish Gvt.
Barca, financed by their fans, proud of their Catalan heritage.
Brilliant youth accademy at Barca, always try to produce home grown talent unlike Madrid who buy buy buy, - remember the so called Galactico's - pathetic.
Greaseball Ronaldo and Mourinho were made for each other. If they were made from chocolate they'd lick each other to death.
As for Barca diving, - do me a favour

Re: Real v Barca
Madrid are railroaded by the spanish gov't... right... That Barca myth about being funded by the fans is complete sh*t. The fact of the matter is that both sides have exploited and monopolized the TV rights in spain, as well as the advertisement rights from it. That's the primary reason that Spain is basically Scotland - two big teams, the rest full of sh*t. If you really think that the fans have any clout at Barca you're sorely mistaken. Yes, they have 90k people at each game, but Real have 80k. Ticket prices have been meaningless since the 80's. Get real.revie-era wrote:Never liked Madrid, the Man Utd of the Spanish League. Both teams are disgusting. It's a joke that anyone still buys into that image of Real as the upper and Barca as the lower class. It's all lies and garbage. Theyre both one in the same, Barca and Real.

Barca have been heavily in debt for a long while now, and will be more or less financed by a Qatari outfit from next season onwards (meaning Unicef are off the shirts and this new group is on).revie-era wrote:Never liked Madrid, the Man Utd of the Spanish League. And you can't seriously say Barca weren't diving. Christ. Embarassing some of those efforts, but nice of the ref to help out again. Going out against Arsenal, soft Van Persie red card. Red card for Inter last year? Remember the clear bribing of the officials when they played Chelsea. I hate Chelsea but was sickened by that night. 2/3 clear penalties disallowed.
And yes, Messi did score a good goal. Slightly easier against 10 knackered men though eh.

Re: Real v Barca
Didnt watch the end of the game so missed the goals, sounds like a couple of moments of pure class from Messi. It's just sad that the rest of the game was so dull. Madrid camped in their own half first half and Barcelona were diving all over the place. Think I'll stick with Bolton v Stoke thanks!
As for the behaviour of the crowd, throwing bottles, racist chanting. If that had been two English clubs they would be banned from European competition by now.
