Leeds United Ownership Revealed

Leeds United have today announced that there are new owners of the football club in an attempt to clarify the clubs ownership following questions raised by the Football Governance Enquiry. Outro Ltd, registered in Nevis, West Indies, which is wholly owned by Ken Bates has purchased Forward Sports Fund. In turn FSF holds 72.85% of shares in Leeds City Holdings Which in turn owns Leeds United Football Club Ltd outright. The remaining 27.15% of shares in FSF are owned by four unconnected shareholders who each hold less than 10% of the shares. The club states that as of 3rd May 2011 Mr K W Bates is deemed to be the controlling shareholder of Leeds United Football Club.
