and definitely nowt to be excited about now. we look like we cant be bothered, just making up the numbers at the minute. Hope they prove me wrong!

Because this game means nothing now. Even if we win, ok we've done great to beat the league leaders but the points count for nothing.

Points will be meaningless I agree, but we have still scored. I would love to finish the season and have done the double of the champions. So if we were mid table Jo, once you reach a point in the season where we wont go down and probably wont make the play offs do we just stop supporting? and stop wanting to win?

Top post silky, lets ruin QPR's day. I doubt losing will ruin it seen as they are going up, but nice to take a bit of the gloss off it for them.

I'd imagine ther is a bit of difference in prize money between 7th and 9th

We have done the double over the best team in the league. I think that's something to be very proud of.

There's a point to winning. Shows the players still up for it, there were good performances today from Gradel, Johnson and killa.

Another thing, mccormack two in two games will give him confidence for next season. Also showed get rid of Paynter.

All in all a good win. It also meant something to those travelling fans who outsung a crowd who were meant to have won title.

Big of a daft thread to me this ! Should we have not turned up then ?!

Professional sport is about playing to the end and so while i am still able to breathe, I will always cheer a Leeds goal. No one is more disappointed than I that we blew the play offs but today was always about going out there and doing LUFC proud and we did that.

Just one last thought from me and I no he has plenty of knockers but I Tht Killkenny was outstanding in the middle today. Hope he re-signs personally.
