Alan Smith - Left the club to prevent going into Administration. Scum was the ONLY club to pay us decent money for him.
Sadly, not true. There were several clubs for Smith, but he was the one that WANTED to go to scum. Even despite his claims, in previous years of Scum were the only club he's never play for. His ords not mine!! Also, his despicable filmed singing of the Munich song!!
wisconsinWHITE wrote:Joe Jordan - Left the club after 8 years and 170 appearances, during decline, and for record fees.
Rats jumping a sinking ship you mean.. Hmmm, now where have we seen that before.
wisconsinWHITE wrote:Gordan McQueen - Also left after several years and many appearances, during decline and for record fees.
So another glory player after his own ends? Also, his famous quote of All players wanted to play for scum and the rest are liars epitomises the whole ethos of scum players, staff an fans!!
wisconsinWHITE wrote:Eric Cantona - Blame Wilko for selling him for pennies.
Again, Wrong! Cuntana was sold because of his daliances with other players wives AND the relatives of Lesley Silvers. Silvers Ordered Wilko to get rid!!
wisconsinWHITE wrote:Rio Ferdinand - Left for record fees, again.
Can't argue with owt about him, pure business deal!
wisconsinWHITE wrote:You can hate them all you want, whether you think they were glory hunting or just assholes. But the fact remains, none of them left without being let go for record fees. I wont concede any of these players to you, because they all left on equal terms for both parties. And to hold a grudge against Smithy just shows how far from the boat you are. He's never been anything but Leeds, through and through. Leave it to fickle fans to tarnish the reputations of fabulous footballers over a derby.
Also, about Johnny Giles: the ONLY reason he left Scum was because Busby FORCED him out. Please explain how joining a STRUGGLING, SECOND DIVISION side was a step up.
Be realistic. Be more than just a fickle fan.
EDIT: And yes, I know that both McQueen and Jordan said some hurtful things upon joining the Scum. That can't go unpunished. But to throw away everything they ever did for us because of something they said in their 20's, upon joining a highly successful club is just ridiculous. Theyre footballers, not role models.

Not quite. See the edits for a truer picture! You claim that Barcelona are cheats etc? Well, that they might be, but no more than ANY other European football club, it's what their brought up on. However, scum on the other hand are NOT any other European team and as such should know better, but they don't. They lie, cheat and barrack anyone and everyone to get their own ends. They treated the relatives of the Munich dead disgracefully and even paint the wrong picture to the world about the survivors. I grant that they are one of the best clubs sides in the world, so why the constant cheating? When they were famously beaten by a third division side the magnanimous manager fu**ed off without even shaking the hand of the victor!!!! Oh aye, a real sporting team. Sorry mate, but scum are whats wrong with the English game! Just take a look at that ginger to55er Scholes. Only last week nearly ended the career of a footballer with studs straight in to the thigh, then Ferdiscum runs in fists blazing. Is he not the captain? Can see the potential and worth, but hate them with a passion for what they bring to the game.
