I'm okay w/ Kasper; would any prefer Westwood?

Deffo need a FB; unless we see a new Fede and a healthy Parker

Need at least one new CB -- (Kissy and Nayls, if they're kept, can only be counted on as insurance at this stage)

Well-settled at wing as long as Snoddy gets back to being fit

Another striker -- and a summer workout regimen to get Paynter down to playing weight

Higgs out of contract, I think?. If he can get 1st team games elsewhere, he'll be off. Alex Cairns looks to be developing well in our youth team, but has a LONG way to go yet. I'd consider keeping Gonzales on as a loan for back up to Kasper, unless there are are better options?

And Becchio is off to a Spanish club this summer, according to his agent.

A forward is a guy who get the ball and has all intentions of getting "forward" winning balls, running in to dead ends, a pass up front, his entire game is based on his ability to get going and bring people into the game, in this case Maybe used a bit loosely as forwards normally have a fair amount of pace, a striker is just that! He can twat the ball with instinct and is also known as a "poacher"

In Kisnorbo, O'Brien and Naylor we potentially have 3 steady defenders and with any 2 of those 3 playing together we should be okay. The problem has generally been because it has been 1 of those 3 and someone else (Collins, Bruce, Bromby etc) and at the end of the 2009-2010 season it was an injury carrying Nayor and useless Collins.
If we can get a top notch central defender in to compliment any of those 3 we should be okay - and sign a left back too (or maybe Lichaj on a season loan admittedly playing him on the wrong side but Connolly is steady)

in Kisnorbo, O'Brien and Naylor we've got a few pretty old, knackered blokes, is what we've got..

I think Lees deserves a chance to prove himself.. he cant have done much more than he did at Bury.. started every game, scored goals, and helped secure promotion... and he just about played every game for Accrington Stanley the season before. 100 senior games for a 21 year old STINKS of class to me

But, we certainly do need one good centre back.... we've got experienced heads, so i'd be after another young-ish guy. Maybe on loan from a premier league club. Someone like Lichaj who their parent club has a high opinion of.
