I thought it worked the other way round? All the Danes get their booze from Malmo and bring it back to Copenhagen do they not??

Malmø much more expensive than here. We go to Puttgarten in Germany for bulk buying beer - otherwise the supermarkets in Denmark are cheap enough for regular use.

German beer much better than any scandy brewed beer, as well! (only natural ingredients by law!).
Main prob is, the cans or bottles have no return code, so you can't use them in the supermarket return machines here. Meaning I have to break the law, by throwing them in the rubbish bin, instead of recycling them!

the machines you put bottles in at supermarkets which gives you a bit of money back dont take bottles without a code. Can recycle those in bottle bins tho

don't think we have these here. when we took them to the supermarket they were just big bins with holes in. we actually get most recycling collected though these days :thup:

All bottles and cans here have a bar code, specifically for Danish containers of beverages. We pay 1 to 3 kroner deposit money, wen we buy them, depending on capacity. When empty, these are returned to the supermarkets via a machine which then gives you a receipt for amount of bottles/cans returned. You take that to the cash desk and the deposit is returned.
Non Danish bottles and cans are rejected, as they don't have he Danish bar code. Meaning I have to spend money to take them to the nearest council dump - or slyly drop them in the rubbish bin.

We don't have moose in Scandinavia - they are called reindeer here. Moose are n.American.

WRONG. We have Reindeer or Caribou - Moose is specifically N.American.
It depends on where you are in the world. In Europe, elk refers to Alces alces, which is known as the moose in North America.
Reindeer and caribou are the same animal, Rangifer tarandus, but reindeer is generally used in Europe
Elk is a relative of the moose but rarely found in Scandinavia, except in Lapland bordering on Russia.
No moose in Norway then.

Moose and Elk are the same fookin animal, tis like sayin a labrador and golden retriver aint the same animal. their both dogs, elk and moose are the same
