Apropos of nothing, but I have just to play the proud father for a moment.

My daughters have just got their music exam results.

Youngest has got a distinction at grade 7 singing, and eldest has just got a distinction at grade 8 oboe.

So proud.
Music so wishes to be heard that it sometimes calls on unlikely characters to give it voice...

When I did mine about a decade ago now (not in the same instruments), it was the most horrible feeling ever. Having to play while some snooty invididual writes about the performance.

I didn't get anywhere near 8 either, so christ knows what that is like. Well done to your girls.

Great news Bazza! Congrats! My great nephew Harry in Sussex has just got two music achievements and one in MVA - whatever that is?

The Beach Boys are always remembered for their songs 'God Only Knows' 'Good Vibrations' 'Sloop John B', etc but are not generally credited for the 5 star albums they have produced apart from Pet Sounds that is !

Those two songs from Carl & the Passions are simple but beautiful !

Six or seven of us haven't posted on the 'dark side' since

At the time they also lost the likes of Muso & posters such as half a graham (Gessa), Tinshill White, Isengard, Sofa Head & others too didn't post as regularly once the change was implimented

I have just read the thread & i see the Diplees is still being personal. JJ said a few kind words though !

I was tempted to reply to the clown Diplees but it would be pointless !

Good to see a unaminous YES vote

I wonder if the ignorant mods on there will listen now !

Just had to go and take a peek 64  Too little too late, I notice Alf gets a mention though

Heard this for the first time the other day, can't believe it came out in 2008  Anyway I like it so I thought I'd post it up in here :-D Shame about the band name though.

:bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

Of course the mods & admin won't listen Leon - that site is run to polish their egos, not for the benefit of the posters. They have the power, they need to demonstrate it / abuse it (delete where applicable)

Won't make a jot of difference to me, I'm not going back there.

At this point, hoping to get to the Bradford game. Will be at Cropredy for the first home game proper.
