''The multi-million pound redevelopment''
f**king great. Spend it on some players you old barsteward!!
Cant he buy a decent team to get us to the Prem then spend it on all this guff once we have shitloads of money to spare? Surely the main 'product' is the team?

Like Ridsdale did?
I think it looks ace, as it all but hides that horrible east stand monstrosity - but it will deffo show up the rest of the ground as being a crumbling mess.

Spoke to some friends who went to Motherwell yesterday & they confirmed that the mood with many Leeds fans is not great, the majority are pessimistic
The Leeds fans had a good day supporting their team all the same !

But you are talking to folk who you know/think like you etc. The SC hate Bates and look for ways to undermine him. You and your mates/posters on here are a small part of LUFC. Some of us are excited - Brown is better than Killa, the new goalie was Larry's first choice at Blackpool, Nunez has been toughened up ready for the season ahead, Kis is back etc etc.
We haven't spent millions so you are unhappy. We were never gonna spend money. Bates told everyone this.

From the Sunday Times football correspondent verbatum
Duncan Castles
@swleach @BuzzSuffer Believe me, Leeds have been extremely active looking for players. Top wage of £11k makes it harder to do deal.

My mates were mixing with fans in the pubs & around them in the ground as well as those on the journey to Scotland.white.riot wrote:

Yes technically Brown is a better player than Killa as long as he is fit & lasts the pace of a long season
Never seen the new goalie so cannot comment. Larry saw enough of the inept Collins whilst on loan in L1 but still signed him
Numez could be a real gem
I love Kisnorbo but he is coming back from an horrendous injury, i just hope we see the Kis we all know. He could be a massive risk factor, i sincerely hope not !

Expect twig to dig up his list of imaginary friends to counter your list. Anyway we have the makings of a good pre season under our belt already.

Re: Where our 'Transfer Warchest' has gone
We know the limitations of our wage packet and have only being able to get Snods, Gradel as we got them from the gutter.
Only got Brown at the end of his career...........
There is a patterm look at lost players like Sharp, Eustace, Smith, Woody, Montgomerie, Lonergan, Westwood, Simpson the list is endless, i think Leeds have being extremely busy but have failed.
I think we tried for McGauly (Ipswich), Pratley (Bolton) Westwood (Sunderland) Lonergan..... We need to consolodate and i think his idea is that we are more saleable with the stadium in place but the buck will be with Grayson if we dont do well but its not his fault .....
