Post-transfer window catch-all sunshine and happiness thread

Post by Crude »

Since no one is partaking in my doom and gloom thread, lets make this the sunshine and unicorn farts, happy-clappy Leeds United thread. I'll start....

- I support Simon Grayson and his staff to make a great challenge on getting promoted this season.

- Should have a very nice warchest in the January window to get a few players that can get us over the hump and promoted.

- I wish Max the very best in his career and thank him immensely for his effort he put forth while playing for the greatest club in the world.

-I love Leeds United, always have, always will.

- Marching On Together forever!

:-D

I support Ken Bates and can't for the life of me understand why stubborn Simon won't spend any of the disposable cash that our good Chairman has made available to him.
Helplessly hoping

You obviously were not at St Mary's when he ripped Aidy White to shreds and caused havoc in our defence when both Soton and Leeds were in league one.

Good player - did v well at Blackpool in prem when he joined on loan last season - would have been good addition, certainly better than Lloyd Sam in my opinion.

Obviously wages was the reason he changed he's mind......

Fair enough Leon, I can certainly respect that. Wasn't trying to poke at anyone. We all are feeling pretty raw and gutted, but just trying to bring back some positives in-spite of what happened/didn't happen yesterday. You certainly have grown into one of my favorite posters here since you decided to join-up on MOT. So thanks dude.

Sam has been very disappointing for me !

Grayson rates him as with Paynter so that's okay

Weve all supported Leeds through worse than yesterday, and will again in the future, football teams are like kids, they do your head right in but your likely to ket a kick in the nuts if you try take mine away!

I dont have any faith in Bates anymore, but I do have it in Grayson, he is in a position where if he was genuinely unhappy he could walk away and get another job just like that, he has built himself a reputation good enough to not be on the dole too long. The fact he is still around suggests all is not as bad as it may seem and I would hope his statement on the website this evening is an honest one, however frustrating and repetative it may seem.

I certainly dont think he would be so in Bates's pocket as to blatantly lie about the situation, he has no reason to.

The time for transfer talk is over and regardless of who owns the club or whats going on with hotels or anything else the main thing is leeds play on saturday, and im behind them all the way.

Puncheon is a very hot and cold player hes a guy whos rarely consistant at all, our defence has not been so sturdy in recent seasons either and i have no doubt plenty of players have ripped aidy white to pieces hes not our best LB hes more of a wing back type better going forward than he is defending.

Puncheon didnt make the grade at southampton in there promotion season, he start 7 times for mill wall last season and 11 for blackpool. There must be a reason why hes not being kept on by these teams if hes so good wouldnt you think?
