Re: vs Kilkennys boys
As far as I know Rogers is just a winger. We'd struggle if Becchio or Macca got injured now, Somma is the only other of our strikers who can cut it at this level and I doubt we'll see him again this season...
Forssell and Paynter have been huge wastes of money, although I could see the reasoning behind signing Barndoor, he should have been shipped out by now after his abysmal showing last season.

Based only on Bristol match (including against 11) I'd say we could manage without Becchio, at least against weaker teams, i.e. add a midfielder and pass our way through. But, lack of back- up and lack of plan B are concerns.Genghers wrote:As far as I know Rogers is just a winger. After a long journey down the first half was bloody awful two poor teams showed not much difference to the second half on tuesday Snoddy got a well worked goal. The second got a bit better but must remember we were only playing nine men.We seemed to have no idea of how to play against them instead of passing the ball we started trying to hit long balls. But in the end the result was the most important thing. The chants against Bates were very strong and the support for Grayson was as well.Hope the puppet lorimer reported back on this. Then we set off home to the most horrendous journey i have ever known its a good job we won.Was interesting to hear on the football league show Bates getting blasted about not spending money as do quite a few of the Sunday papers.

Did you get overtaken by the team bus doing 60, when all other traffic was doing 20MPH in the snow?eastyorkshirewhite wrote:After a long journey down the first half was bloody awful two poor teams showed not much difference to the second half on tuesday Snoddy got a well worked goal.

Cant really say what speed the team bus was really doing all i know is we were doing about 20mph and it flew by the driver did not seem to have any thought about anyone else on the road i would not have liked to have been on that coach at all.Twiggster wrote:
