Re: Who's Next?
Perhaps Warnock turned us down because he wants a premier league job (eg. Wolves, or perhaps Wigan or Blackburn or Bolton if they become available)...

Who's Next?
The most important part of that article seems to be the suggestion that a permanent manager will be in place soon after the Donny match.joluafc4eva wrote:Mick McCarthy rules himself out

Doubt it is any more than The Mail making assumptions though.

Unfortunately ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ seems to be the majority of Leeds fans feelings these days, regarding our club.rand3ll wrote:

I do feel that BJ was possibly the only player we should have kept, in recent times? We had no chance of keeping wannabe big bollox howson and Max wanted away to be with his family.
BJ may just have been the catalyst this season - but so easy to look back in hindsight. I slagged him off at times as well as most other Leeds fans.
Love to have him back right now tho.

I dunno, not sure we could afford BJ launching all those balls out of ER? Surely the fine for him kicking one into a passing airliner would've done the club in, right?Twiggster wrote:Unfortunately ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ seems to be the majority of Leeds fans feelings these days, regarding our club.![]()

Have you seen him playing for Norwich this season Dan?Crude United wrote: I dunno, not sure we could afford BJ launching all those balls out of ER? Surely the fine for him kicking one into a passing airliner would've done the club in, right?

Just shows what a bit of decent coaching can do. I'm expecting Howson to make quite an impact too under that team of coaches.
Bates, GFH, Cellino: Same s**t, different arseholes.

I was kidding GW. Haven't seen him play this season, but heard he was doing pretty well. I did give him lots of flack when he was here, but would have him back in a heartbeat considering our current situation in midfield.Guildford White wrote:

I thought he was worth making an effort to retain but didn't expect him to make regular appearances in the Premiership.Crude United wrote: I was kidding GW. Most of our fans want Warnock as next boss.
Yet Wolves who sacked their manager 2 weeks after us have already interviewed him.
Shaun Harvey is as much use as tits on a boar.

Re: Who's Next?
Given that Warnock was still negotiating the terms of his settlement, it seems unlikely that we were able to substantively discuss anything with us before that was completed.
It is unfortunate timing that McCarthy got the sack when he did
I doubt it's anything else.

It's clearly our incompetent management team that have been so useless that they didn't get in there first and offer him a mega bucks deal to take over at leeds. Any other suggestion is just ludicrous
