have changed my mine several times for the line up, what we got aint working but does look a decent team on paper. So is it a case of sticking with them and hopeing they come good or time for many changes? I am still unsure so gone for a few changes and tried to make midfield and defence as solid as poss, last thing we need is to let in an early goal!

........lonns

bruce...lees....o'dea...pugh

snods....clayton...brown...townsend

....macca.....becchio

subs, taylor, thomson, rodgers, nunez, forsell.

gone for as many attacking options as poss on the bench, if we do keep it tight at least we have attacking options to try and find a winner. townsend has not turned into a bad player over night and should be given another chance. got to win this one and try and give it one last push for the play offs.

p.s please, please please, get the managers job sorted, redfearn was never going to be the long term answer and we are now just wasting time and possible the season

First hour was two pants teams playing a pants game.

Last half hour for some reason the spirit came back :) Not before time too.

I'm well chuffed that Lucci scored, he'd worked hard all game and desrved it. Ross worked and played well, as did Snoddy, but the rest were hit and miss throughout. I'm left hoping that Rogers and the Donny player are both ok after what looked like a nasty collision, and I also hope that Diouf gets home tonight to find his house has been infested with ill-tempered hippos. What a *******.

So, Colin it is, and despite nailing my colours to the Solskjaer/Poyer mast, I guess we 've gone for the man who can, the man with the proven track record, and I for one will support him.
So, on to todays game
I hear Colin went into the dressing room at half time, he was probably purple with rage at witnessing another inept performance by a set of spineless blokes supposedly going under the banner of professional footballers. This was another horror show, no guts, no effort, no leadership, having the ;keeper as captain doesn't work, its out there in the heat of battle where you want your leader. And talking of the 'keeper, - I would have thought that anyone with half a brain would have realised that kicking the ball upfield was reaping zero rewards as the Doony defence swallowed every clearance with ease. (Occasionally Bechio won a flick on, but more of that later). Lonnergan apparently saw thing differently. Only Snoddy and the afore mentioned Bechio left the field at half time with any credit, - Bechio only just, mind.
Pugh apparently found some enthusiasm to drag himself onto the pitch for the 2nd half (where did that come from). I suspect Colin will have a quiet word on Monday and explain in simple English either he gets his act together quickly or collects his p45. I also think Colin may have put his arm round Bechio and said "Luci, when you recieve the ball, control it with your first touch, pass it and get in the box, if you get a chance for a shot, take it". To the rest of the players he probably reminded them to try hard, pass the ball, and Luci would prefer to recieve it on the floor insted of round his neck.
A little more effort ensued, but calamatous defending again saw the game slip away ,- or so we thought. Donny were unable to hang onto the lead long enough and Townshend dragged us back into it with our first shot on target after 53 mins which brough a goal. Suddenly 11 different players in white were on the pitch and with the crowd rejuvenated, there was only one winner. A great finish by Clayton and another from Bechio dragged out a victory from certain defeat.
Dont know why Redfearn sub'd Townshend, he was playing well, and Rogers only touched the ball once in 10 minutes before his injury.
I was pleased for Redfearn who must have been demoralised at half time as he witnessed the first half horror show.
Another couple of things, I like Lees but he needs a rest, he's looking tired and defaults to wayward clearances too often. Claytons body language gave cause for concern in the first half, he also looks nack'd but he rallied with a great goal.
I honstly cant see even Colin getting us over the line this season, if he does it will be his greatest achievement, but with a good backroom staff and a clear out of the deadwood in summer, a few decent signings and anything is possible.
During the first half there were a few Bates Out chants, but on at least one occasion, others drowned them out with We Are Leeds chants. Hope the message is slowly getting through to support the team during the match and leave all the politics for a day when Bates is in town and outside the West Stand.

Inspirational half time team talk kicks in at 53 minutes  Although Warnock claimed all the accolades in his post match interview, Redfearn leaves with a 50% win rate which isn't bad for a rookie keeping the seat warm during contract negotiations. I trust he will be given a bonus and left to develop the next generation.

I really thought that the players would be up for this. A new manager in place. What an opportune time to show what you can do. Instead we had to endure a first half with not one shot on goal against a side that was bottom of the table and leaking goals.

At long last Redders decided that it was time to go on the offensive and Townsend was re-introduced to the side.

Strangely he decided that Bruce a CD should play RB at the expense of Connelly who was on the bench.

The first half ended with Doncaster hitting the post and then scoring a goal with the defence & midfield (Pugh) caught out.

The second half ended with a win but Warnock must have been worried about the defensive frailities and the lack of creativity,

Grayson has left a squad no better than a mid table side and without some quality introductions it's difficult to see how this side will be able to challenge for promotion.

I disagree. What is currently in our dressing room is a squad who BELIEVE they are no better than a mid-table side. Hopefully a bit of quality coaching and the forceful placement of footwear on the gluteus maximi will sort it out.

Yet another shocking first half devoid of any quality from Leeds as Donny were allowed to run the show

Why is it teams like Brighton & Donny play the ball from the back once the ball has been deposited from their keeper to a defender as oppose to Lonergan who hoofs the ball to no man's land invaribly miles away from Becchio's head & where Ross has no chance with the ball as it falls from sky, easy meat for championship defenders ?
Why do our players give the ball away cheaply ? Why are our players stationary, not enough movement or running off the ball ?

As WR said to me when Donny went 2 up "3 to win yet again", at that time i thought the game was over & resigned myself to another loss with my comment of "game over" within a minute it was "game on" as the fightback commenced.
Two fantastic goals from Clayton & Becchio sealed the game for us even though it still could have gone either way, topsy turvy stuff watching Leeds. Rogers injury took a little gloss off the win at the time, think he is okay now !

What a strange day

Donny started the game with 10 men, i reckon one of the players must have had to pay a visit to the little room as he ran onto the pitch three minutes after the game had started. Never seen that happened at a game before

A fight in the kop amongst two Leeds fans

A brawl amongst players behind the scenes after the players left the pitch. Never seen so many police run down the tunnel

And the horrible head clash involving Rogers & a Donny player

Oh & Leeds winning after going 0-2 down

Well done Warnock
