O/T One Foot In The Grave
My old sparring partner Ronan sent me a PM over the weekend and I am sure that he will not mind me sharing the general gist of it. Long story short he is in hospital at the minute and may not be on MOT for a bit.
My "sources" in HMRC have let me know which hospital and I may make a point of going in and scaring the sh!t outta him by pretending to be a consultant and telling him that his willy has to be amputated (or something).
He has mentioned on another thread recently that he was not keeping too well - so I don't think by sharing this news I am breaking any confidences.
Just thought that the rest of the family should know.

Dammit Ronan. Please get well immediately. We need you back on line for your good humour, your expert tax advice, and your general lack of insight on the Mighty Whites.
Not sure why evil Gino has labeled the thread so bleakly, but I sincerely hope this is nothing more serious than a vasectomy (something we'd all chip in for  ). Look forward to your speedy return to MOTland.

Re: O/T One Foot In The Grave
Ok folks, they kicked me out of hospital on Thursday.
Unfortunately i didn't get the news i was looking for.....i've got Lymphoma, a type of cancer around my spleen.Waiting for bone marrow resuts and then possibly chemo.
The news was really a shock, and i've decided,to hell with it....i'll share it with the MOT family.
Things are very raw and emotional at the moment and tears are flowing openly.
I want to publicly thank Dr Leeds for his help and support.
But,i'm determined to beat this bugger....and i know with your support,i'll get there.
