Turned up at 7.15 am (jimmys) waited all day and was told to go home (Bas**rds) at 4.45 spent all day in there no food or water since 11 night before, apparently the guy who was on the slab before me devloped complications and consequently they wouldn't have time to do me, F**king fuming i was really kicked off on the ward (in true LUFC fashion) i can tell you, they were grovelling all over me with sympathy but i am in real pain with this and off work, now Im waiting for a new date, have slapped a complaint in for what good that will do me. NHS shove it, from what you say though looks like another couple of weeks off work after the op.
Those responsible for your treatment must have been aware of the delay, so why not communicate with you earlier or even better accept they are going to have to work extra-time to deal with your operation. God knows how many times have i arrived home late due to the immense workload when i was employed by companies. These people working within the NHS need to shape up !
