El Hadji Diouf Signed!
On 9 August Diouf joined Leeds United on trial and started training with the first team.[31] Diouf was confirmed as signing a non contract deal with Leeds United on 11 August and officially became a Leeds player.[32] Diouf was named as a substitute for Leeds in the first game of the season against Shrewsbury Town in the League Cup on 11 August.[
If he can score goals and push us for promotion I don't care on hes back ground lets all get behind him and see what the outcome is?!?!?!?!

African born players seem to do well in the Leeds shirt. Let's hope that Diouf fits in and finds a home here.
Faaip -- Please assure me that this reclamation project will go smoother than Chad Johnson. Oh, and have you located a spitting smilie yet?

interesting comparison..maybe not so much Johnson as Owens...he too can become poison in the dressing room.
maybe Diouff could change his name to Veintiuno...a new start and all that

I only used Johnson over Owens b/c Chad got himself into more hot water over the weekend....goes from #1 wideout to cut in no time. But you're right, the TO comparison is quite apt.

certainly. Paul made a comparison, Diouff was a bit like Chad Johnson..former wide receiver with the Bengals and others. also a fairly despicable guy. I pointed out that it was an interesting comparison but maybe Terrell Owens was a better comparison as Terrell Owens can be poison in the dressing room.
the second bit reffered to Chad Johnson changing his image by reverting to his real name after taking the name Chad Ochocinco which is Spanish for 85..his shirt number, I suggested Diouff do similar but in reverse and take his number in spanish as his name
hence Veintiuno.
simple
