First ratings of the season!

Kennny 7, A couple of good saves and good distribution.
Byram 8, Good pace and skill, looks to have alot of potential.
Peltier 8*, Suprised to see him at centre back but looked very comfortable there.
Pearce 7, Solid, strong and plenty of talking to the players around him,which was good to see.
White 6, Quiet going forward, sound defending.
Green 6, Put him self about but out of position on the right, wll fit better in the the centre.
Austin 8, Strong, good in the air, a couple of great long passes and likes to put his foot in, will be a crowd favourite.
Norris 7, Another one who likes to put his foot in and looks like he will chip in with a few goals.
Varney 7, Won everything in the air and has also got a few goals in him.
McCormack 7, Little moments of class and good penalty, drifted in and out of the game a bit.
Becchio 7, Typical Becchio, love him or hate him he will get plenty of goals if he stays fit.

Diouf- did not look match fit but has something a little extra about him.

Wouldn't disagree with any of those, think Byram would have been my MOTM, looks to have bags of ability!
Was surprised to see Lees missing, and obviously didn't know why he was at the time, but the defence was pretty solid even with Peltier out of his natural position.
We desperately need a right winger, Green did well, but is clearly more comfortable further in-field.

Diouf showed glimpses of his ability, but a couple of clear dives, which I never like to see...

All in all a very confident performance, but will be a very different game next week given that Shrews are essentially a league 2 team and Wolves essentially a Premiership side!

All them 1st half til we scored. They ran out of steam in 2nd half.
We laffed at decision after wonder save by Paddy before FT. Finger tips save and ref gives a GKick!
Good last warm up for Neil - hope today not his pref team tho.
No mate - wud start Gray. Argy ran more today but s**t at creating.
Poss Argy as supersub vs wolves? An idea.
Beasty needs to up his game a level. Bit too slow. Him & Chuck needs to gel in MF. Gonna B good.

Kenny was great today, made plenty of decent stops. He did drop one shot at the feet of their striker though (was catching into the sun), so was lucky the striker was dreadful.

Becchio was much better than when I saw him last season, though still looked a bit off the pace which is probably due to less game time. Was pretty dogged up front after Poleon came on and he dropped deeper, won a couple of tackles and made some decent passes.

No idea what they're on about with Austin, he played the role very well - barely missed a header and bar a couple of miss-hit clearances he was solid.
Whole team closed down pretty well and we've definitely got a lot more bite than last season!
