been here since I was 2...so 100/(50 - 2) x 100 says I'm 96% Surrey and 4 % Essex..and you're playing fast and loose with the word advanced...

Just heard from an old friend who's wives friends next door neighbour who has a contact in the Far East who's heavily involved in Arab finances has told her that the deal will be done tomorrow.

The final hurdle on the deal has been overcome this weekend which seemed to hinge on the venue of the post completion meal. The consortium suggestion of a meal deal at Akhbars was rejected by Mr Bates as his preference was a boneless bucket at KFC at the expense of the potential new owners (of course!).

In the end the compromise has come about due to Harvey suggesting a 'bring your own' style picnic on the Elland Rd car park.

As someone who's stance is fractionally on the side of Ken Bates I beg to differ...but what am I saying you've been banned. bit like continuing an argument with the missus once she's stormed out of the room

But at least if you say something outrageous enough, the missus will most likely storm right back into the room. Like Ken Bates is a good old chummy-sort of bloke who only only has the best interest of Leeds in his heart...... Well, you know what happens next.
